This does vape nice at 6v. I have something else up my sleeve as well, for at least me personally. Muhaha

Was just researching batteries myself.

Prodigy runs RCR123a at 3.0v 750mah times 2 (resistor I would imagine to knock things down to 5v, not sure haven't disassembled yet). The RCR123a batteries are 7mm taller than the CR2. Possibly a extender ring for the Silver Bullet would be an option if protected CR2's are hard to come by. Would extend the Bullet by 14mm to do this (according to your current batt dimensions) but you could sell the extender as additional item.

I was also able to find protected RCR123a's at 900mah on ebay as a full kit with charger for $30, but bulk wholesale purchases would be cheaper I am sure.

All that being said, I will be looking for a spacer for my Prodigy so I only have to use one battery type or buying an extender if you decide to do that option.

Either way I wish you competing mod designers would work together to some degree in setting a global standard for batteries in these new products.

I for one may rethink my purchase if i cant resolve the 10 different battery types issue. Its a real turnoff.

Still researching options. What is the maximum possible tolerance (Diameter x Height) for battery storage in the Bullet? Millimeters please!!!

Good morning,
The SB was designed for the18500 @ 3.7v. There is a percentage of people who like to vape at 6v, this is why i made it known that CR2 could be used. As far as the extender I am already working on that. The maximum battery size(or combo of two) is 19mm x 55mm. Yes the many different battery sizes are a pain, most modders want their mods to be different as you say we are competing. The SB itself produces plenty of vapor at 3.7 volts. 6v is an option only. If you like the taste of vaping at normal voltage and desire a long life battery, the SB kit is all you will need.

Rob, now that I have gazed upon the Silver Bullet I think I might need one. Keep me posted. The post office can't hurt something that beautiful.

Ha! Don't worry, these will be shipped in boxes and covered in a mound of bubble wrap :p Hopefully they won't set a bowling ball on your next order ;)

Also wanted to point out that one of the differences between this mod and other mods is we are striving for battery life. The majority of the other mods run @ 200-1000mAh, we wanted to focus on battery life @ 3.7v...also one of the key factors is the switch that we are using, I don't think anyone else is presently using a switch that will last as long as this one.

I just want to clarify a few things. Just to make sure my thinking about the SB is correct.

The SB can take 2 cr2 3.0 volt batteries to give me 6 volts - right? I have no interest in vaping at 3.7 volts. I don't have a problem if the batteries are unprotected cuz I think cr2 batts are unprotected.

I'm only interested in vaping with the 510 atty and the 801 atty. The SB has these adapters - right?

How is the SB on button pressing? Can you press anywhere on the button and it will fire? Or does it misfire occasionally when not pressing the right spot on the button?

I don't have to ask is it durable and will it last - I can already see it's a well thought out design and is durable.

Yes 2x CR2 (presently) for 6v, while you can do that we don't recommend it and it will be use at your own risk (Due to them not being protected). We will be changing this in the future =P

Each head with be threaded with either 801, 901 or 510. You choose, adapters will be available shortly after launch.

The prototype I have presently, I have to push it all the way for it to fire. I can push about 1/8th into it without firing. Don't know what you mean by "Or does it misfire occasionally when not pressing the right spot on the button?"
