question if a 510 pass through uses the same 3.7 and so does the sb why do u get more vapor? seems to me like it should be the same? does the sb do anything to flavor? (higher heat less flavor?) more vapor more flavor? sorry mate just kinda confused about this sb
actually a 510 passthru operates on 4.2v. The SB at full charge operates at 4.2v as well. Here is the difference with a discharge rate of 1.5c it allows a maximum of 2.4A. The 510 atty having aproxx 2.5ohms of resistance plus the 120mohm internal resistance of the battery, less than 300mohm through the SB itself = curent requirement of aprox 1.615A. As you can see the SB allows the atty to run at its full capacity. At 6.784Watts the atty is happy :). IMO the SB enhances the flavor if anything, as far as vapor production I hope all this jargon summed that up for you. :D
To add to it USB is limited to 500mA or .5A whichever you prefer thus running the atty at only 2.1Watts.
Watts = power = heat
Notice how hairdryers are rated in Watts?

any probs at all with attys failing with running at 6.784 watts instead of the lower? or at least lower life? that is my last question sry lol ;)
Nope, not that i have noticed. Many report that when they run thier atty at 6v it keeps it cleaner. Keep in mind that the SB is a 3.7 mod. At true 6v these attys are running at approx 13.846 Watts! I have not actually seen what the watt rating the manuf give these things. I imagine the sweet spot is right about 6.5-7 watts. I really hope I did not confuse anyone with this info :) Its been a while but I did take 4 years electronics in high school :evil:

Good glad it only took 5 times :p

***sigh***

As long as it works at 6 volts I'm aok.

Quick question - someone in another thread was saying that a spacer is needed when using 2 cr2 3.0 volt batteries in the SB.

In Tauk's review he didn't mention having to use a spacer for 6 volts.

Is a spacer needed if I want to use 2 cr2 3.0 volt batteries in the SB?

It was Breafast that mentioned that, NO a spacer is not required for cr2 batteries, I can not post on that forum, and i wanted to correct him:(
I do not forsee a spacer ring in the SB future, I like the smooth lines, it will be a longer bottom for use with Protected CR123@3v x 2 for 6v vaping. It will be a bit after release when that will be made available. Not to be an ... but after i made mention of an extender ring, someone else shortly made an anouncement they were gonna make one for thier mod in the future. LOL i want to be different.

Noobie needs some advice here. I am about to order a SB but can't decide on which model to order. Here is my story.

I got a 910 (my first vaporizer) a week ago and am both extremely satisfied and extremely disappointed. Satisfied enough to live w/o analogs for a week already. Disappointed by the short battery span and not enough amount of vapor. So I looked and learned about mods for long battery span. SD, Prodigy, GG, and finally SB, and found myself in love with SB. But since my experience is only with 901, can't decide which model: 901, 801, or 510? If anyone can give me some insight on those three in terms of the amount of vapor they produce and the amount of liquid they hold (already tired of filling the cart so frequently, and I know I am lazy...), it would be great. Thank you.
