hey cddz, i read that the Sb's body is made from 6061 aluminum, is that a T6 temper? I guess what im' really askin' is how is it holdin' up to every day ware an tear? It's just so damn shiny, it would feel like a sin to scratch it....maybe i'll have to get a second, one for fancy dinner party's (cough), and one for general ruckus'ing.

You know what I do not remember what the temper is, I will find the invoice, my appologies. As far as wear and tear, it holds up very well. Although i keep it in my pant pocket at work. I do buff it to a mirrior(or at least try). A good polishing cloth would work wonders for daily. Mothers aluminum polish would work well too.
I thought of having the powder coated, but as prior US NAVY I like brightwork. Anodize out of the question, want it to be lowest possible resistance for max wattage.get it sprayed by the bed liner people....

The powder coating on the Prodogy is one of the main reason i never ordered one,,, it just doesn't appeal to me at all... and anodizing would only look good for a few months at the most with the frequent handling a PV gets... there really is just somthing magic about turned bare metal, I have a small watch makers lathe that i use alot to make jig parts and bushin's, i could give my SB a quick spin in it for a polish if need be.
Sisal wheel with white or brown compound works best

One thing seldom talked about with higher voltage is the atomizer used. It's my understanding that larger atomizers have higher resistance. I used to us a Trog screwdriver with a RN4075 atomizer, it is in the 901 class, but runs hotter. I have used this atomizer on 6v mods and it burns the liquid unless perfectly topped off (I drip by the way). I currently us a BE112 (pen or 801 style) atomizer at 6v and it works great. The flavors are awesome and the vapor is amazing as well. Why do we not talk about atomizers and their benefits when discussing voltage options?
