Silver Bullet Question...

are you running it at 3.7v or 6v?

also what atty?

I do 3 drops @ 3.7 and 4-5 at 6v on a 510 atty.

Sometimes it does flood but you can unscrew it and blow it out.

hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. It's a 510 atty @ 3.7v. Also, I'm plan on going with 6v eventually, so I was curious to what people recommend using for each, drop wise. Thanks again for the quick reply.

For dripping, I use 3 drops into the atty, then use a Brass T-tip. At 6 volts, the brass can get pretty warm, tho! BTW, one thing I love about the SB for dripping is it stands up by itself!

Well, I plan on doing dripping as well, so I appreciate that info. Just wanted to mainly know about the drops in the cart. Appreciate that info though, now I don't have to worry about asking.

As for the cart, I use the straw/blue foam mod. I guess 8-10 drops until just above the straw, then fold and stuff the foam in, tamp it down a bit so no foam is above the rim, then maybe add a drop or 2 onto the foam if it's dry. Seems to work for me really well!

I appreciate the informative information. I might have to give that a try and see how it works out. :)

I use the the Blue foam the exactly the same pretty much and use it for 801,901 and 510 attys. I usually add 2 drops to the atty's as well with every refill.

I think that different people, have different ways of vaping. I'm still new, so I'm wanting to try more than just one way. Thanks for replying.

That's exactly what I think I'm wanting to try myself. We'll see though. Thanks for the info.

Well, give dripping a shot down the road. I use to get so frustrated with carts constantly running out (especially on the 510), so I dropped the cart and never had to live that frustration again ;P

I've heard of the blue foam, but never really understood (or looked up) what it was used for :p Care to explain?

I'm planning on giving dripping a shot, that for sure. I just want to try a few different ways, then I can tell what I think will work for me the best. Appreciate the feedback.

I never used carts on the SB, just drip.
3-4 @ 3.7v which i hardly ever do anymore.
5-6 or more at 6V and i do it all day no problems.

6V dripping is the way to go, why do u even want to mess with carts?

'cause I can't drip and drive! Also, at work I sort of stealth vape in the locker room, no time to drip, just a quick puff or 2 blown into the locker.

That's my point exactly. I don't mind dripping, but there's going to be times that I can't or don't want to be dripping. That's why I want to learn more about the carts, just for those particular times.

The blue foam only works with 3.7v IMO, otherwise it tastes funny but if u go that route, I get 13 drops in the cart the add the blue foam "plug". cut it 1 and a half times the wisth of cart, both directions into a square, squeeze w tweezers and insert just below the edge of cart, letting it expand to "plug" cart-works very well. At 6v, I have to agree-dripping is DEF the way to go ;)
