I tried the "wire" thing with no difference what soever.
Chad
Maybe you re right Chad. I tried it a few more times the "wire" thing and most of the times I didn't notice any REAL difference. Perhaps a bit better? Is it only my impression? I can't really say but definitely that doesn't solve the problem. Still the over all performance is poor.It means that you should concern the whole unit, not only the bottom part.
I'm just trying to give you as much information as possible for you to figure out the solution.
I even made a bigger mod (same material as the smaller one with the 14500) which can use the 18650. I also use the same atty. So, I confirmed once again the difference in performance between mine and the SB.
Mine feels, like giving a "kick" to the atty and heats it up immediately, while SB takes its time. That is mostly noticeable when the cart is well toped off and the atty (in use with the SB) struggles to heat up the juice. Later on when this is overcome, it works okay but still smoother than mine.

I think the best solution is to speak with Toby at ivapor for a replacement unit, when you return your unit place a note in it with the description of the problem. When I get the unit back... may be in a month or so I will let you know what I found to be wrong with it. It could be a bad switch, I have had a few switches go bad on these.

Hey guys. I can't believe it !!!!
Look at the time my previous post was submitted and then edited.
Now look at the time this message is submitted.
And.....the replacement SB has ALREADY been shipped to me by Toby!!!!!
The guy is faster than his shadow. First he ships the unit and then he replies to my requesting email.
UNBELIEVABLE custom service.
MANY THANKS TOBY.
