Simple Question, would you pay more for eLiquid that has already steeped?

I gotta say..pre steeped by whose standards? What one person likes fresh out of the box might need to be steeped for 2 wks by another and vice/versa. When I buy the juice..I steep it to my specifications for free be it overnight..48hours, a week..etc etc depending on the juice. I determine when I think it's time. Nah..I just can't see myself paying rental space on a vendor's shelf for juice. My shelf works just fine. :)

I gotta say that I agree with you. I mean, ejuice is so, subjective. Everyone's pallets are different, one person's impression of good is different from another's. One person may want to steep juice for a day and another a week or another not at all. I think that having the ability to buy new made juice and you steeping it to your satisfaction and pallet is better.

I don't believe in the concept of pre-steeped juice. It is a pure marketing ploy. There is no way for a manufacturer to know when I think a juice is steeped enough. For those of us who like a little variety in their life, and have never found their all day vape, one may never know how long it takes for their juice to properly steep. I have some half full bottles that are 3 months old, and are still changing in flavor.

Well, I guess I'm the outcast here.

I would be temped (I'm not positive, just tempted) to do that. That's because I am in
a situation right now where I have a ton of juice steeping, and it's taking its sweet time.
While it's torturing me and doing its thing, I'm pushing running low. So, I was recently
trying to figure out who/what I could buy that would be ready to go right away while my
other stuff is steeping.

So, I might would buy a bottle or two to get me through until this stubborn stash decides
its time. After that, I should be set for quite a while because while I'm waiting for them,
I will also be buying for the future.

Don't get me wrong - I will vape. I still have some stuff, and I have some DIY (which
mostly sucks cuz I'm no good at it yet). I will even vape the stuff that's not ready yet
just to enjoy what I can with it knowing that it will get better.

Just like what the title says. Would you pay a few dollars more for your Favorite eLiquid that has Fully Steeped and developed all it's flavor profile?

Say it would cost $18.99 for a 30ml bottle of your favorite eLiquid - when it would normally cost $14.99!

Worth it or not worth it?

Good question. I don't think that I would but its very common for people to spend more money for aged wine, aged pipe tobacco, etc. So it certainly isn't a foreign concept.

I'd be interested to see juice vendors/blenders try it. Offer un-steeped and steeped and see how the steeped version sells. Nothing to lose.

As Vaping become more Main Stream and it's in the Public Eye then there will be many types of Market's opening up, so called Niche markets, in the next few years. The estimation is that in the next three years total Sales of eCiggie Stuff will triple an reach $1 Billion!

Obviously I would have to concentrate on a specific segment of the 'Public'. Those who buy Wine for $200 a bottle at a Restaurant, People who pay a lot of money for Tobacco Pipes and Cigars too.

Most of us In The Know will say will would rather just sit on it and let it steep, and I totally agree with that too.

But at the moment I don't have the pleasure of buying extra eLiquid and letting it steep for a few weeks to a month. And it seems everything eLiquid wise is made to Order - when it comes to online Vendors. Though I imagine if you bought some Boba's Bounty from a different Website than Alien Visions then the juice could be at least a few weeks old and is nearing steeping perfection.

My conundrum is by the time I'm getting done with all my eLiquid they are just nearing maturity.

At this time I personally wouldn't pay a premium for Pre Steeped eLiquids; since I don't have a job. But I can see a lot of 'Better Off' people who would rather just spend a few dollars more and buy eLiquid that is at least say A Month Old.

And with the Palette, that plays a big part too. But how much more mature can you get between 30 and 60 days?

I also have plenty of older e-liquid. I'll trade all of it for a cheeseburger.

(and I will be getting the best end of the deal too)

I'm with you there. That sounds really good right now.

Anywho... I think steeping is a bit over rated anyways. Never had a juice that tasted a million times better after two weeks. I usually just vape it and it gets better daily.

I much prefer aged juices, so I'd pay more for steeped sample sizes, though not for large bottles. (Can't see much point in that, really.)

It would be nice to order several small samples, try them all immediately, and then order anything I liked in larger quantity right away. Having a bunch of wee bottles laying around, all undated and looking pretty much alike, is just inefficient.

I would have to agree with that, even though I'm new to vaping. I smoked a pipe for years, and the tobacco tasted better after aging. In fact, I still have tobac that has been aging in mason jars for about 10 years now. Will I smoke it? Maybe, I never inhaled pipe tobacco like I did cigarettes.
