Does your Protank or Hypertank flood and gurgle all the time no matter what you do? Try this..

1. Flip the top grommet (the one that seals the center post) upside down, this allows it to seal the center tube without obstructing the wick.

2. Take the bottom cap with coil in place and pack it in with any kind of batting - cotton, gauze, hemp, whatever. There should be enough in there to completely cover everything except the top grommet. This will all be concealed when the tank is assembled.

The batting supplies plenty of juice to the wick, but also serves as a barrier to retain the juice. Normally when you vape a BCC, if you peer through the tank after taking a few puffs you'll notice an air bubble or two float up from the coil. I think that when this bubble gets drawn through the wick and into the reservoir, that exchange is where excess juice escapes into the coil housing and floods the atty. Using this trick, those air bubbles will still travel through the batting but without the subsequent deluge of liquid.

This idea was inspired by the consistency of carto tanks.

OK I get the logic, on step 2, am I packing the bottom cap from underneath the metal cap where the battery contacts the coil head assembly? or where else? Cannot "picture" that part.

Sorry to hijack but i am having this issue with the hypertank 2 where the top part does not close properly and sit flush with the outer aluminium case as shown in the picture below.

I then took out one rubber ring from the top part of the glass tube and it screw in perfectly, top and outer aluminium shell aligns and sits flush, but that causes the glass tube to wobble inside the aluminium shell.

Anyone with the same issue manage to resolve it?
Is it advisable to take out that rubber ring?
