Theres no conversation about this thing yet? I don't get it? I thought it was gonna be HUGE?

it says on the Janty website "2nd batch pre orders go out the 1st week of march"
and you can order one now. So when did this happen? This forum hypes so much...
The new volcano lavatube was talked up a HUUUGE amount.... a HUGE amount
and then the day it came out I made 1 of TWO threads about it being the release day...
what the hell? lol. If there was a thread about the MiD being available for order the 1st batch I missed it.
I didn't even know you could order one on pre-order yet.

Have the 1st batches gone out already? Does anyone here have a Janty MiD??

I think it was outhyped by the Evic at the time. And then we got hit by the MVP, Vamo, etc....

If it was a bigger battery mod instead of "ego-styled" and had a display it probly would have blown the evic away. But add to that the fact you have to pay for all the upgrades makes the evic much more desirable, even with its flaws, imho.

Yeah, that's probably it, it's still just a fancy ego- and expensive for that. As an ego user, I'd like it- for a good pricepoint.

The eVic added a bunch of features and the mid's interface on the device seems like something that should have stayed as an idea rather than being executed.

Plus, delays and selling you modules is a horrible model.

It goes up to 25 watts but has a 4 amp limit? With two batteries the maximum voltage is 4.45 but with one it's 8.9? It's 142 dollars and instead of a screen it has a 3 color light and a joystick? I have to pay extra for real time vv/vw?

lol wow. I mean... Everything I've heard about Janty is that they just outright suck, but...
I was NOT expecting the MiD to fail so badly. Its not even on vendor's websites.. Its nowhere.
I thought for sure it'd be a game changer. a variable wattage EGO sized device??
The lack of screen and the fact that you need to pay for the modules ruins it for me.....
The size of it is a huge plus, but the price sucks for a mod with no screen AND the bad nonsensical numbers.
I'm interested to hear someone on the tech side review the specs but I haven't even seen a review for it.

Regarding the "Real-time VV/VW" looking at the description of that point on the janty site

Press the joystick up or down to increase or decrease the profile voltage/power in real time, any time you want during your puff to experience True Real Time Variable Voltage and True Real Time Wattage!

The wording is key, 'during your puff'. The device in its stock form is VV/VW like any other device, but its the ability to change v/w with the joystick during a fire that's a module.

I think that half of the bad wrap this product is getting is formed from misconception/interpretation/opinion.

Another point to clarify, this is not going to be a small ego sized device. According to their specs its the same diameter as my zmax, and a tad bit shorter, maybe 0.25in shorter.

I like the joystick idea. I'd much prefer to bump it up a couple watts w/o stopping and going thru screen menus. My mind isn't totally there some days, but I know I can memorize a few toggle bumps.

If you don't have form of hatred for the evic, you don't need the menus to adjust it's volts or watts
