Are some folks just not built to vape?
I’ve tried different devices, liquids, useage patterns, nic amounts and nothing helps.
I get sinus inflammation, sinus pain, phlegm in the morning and the worst is I can’t smell or taste much at all.
I’m an evening vaper, never during the day. By about 3pm the following day the sinus issues and taste/smell seems to correct. But after even a few puffs at night it comes right back. It’s a nuisance to sleep and wake up with.
Curious if anyone else gets this.
By the way vaping 1mg and 3mg. Sometimes 0.

Thanks.

Thanks for a quick reply.
I’ve tried a number of different brands of juice, it doesn’t seem to matter?
Though I haven’t tried a strictly VG type.
I have tried the slim device about the size of a permanent marker- sorry I can’t remember the make. And now using an aspire archon device with innokin tank/coil. It’s set to 70 Watt and 0.14 ohms (spelling?).
Right now using an odyssey juice.

It may be worth trying high or max VG. PG sensitivities are real. There are several who post here with PG sensitivities, @stols001 comes to mind.

70W for .14 ohms isn't out of line, although it might be possible to find a satisfying vape and lower wattage. Doubt wattage is the issue.

Really doesn't seem like it could be the nic content at your levels.

At the risk of beating a dead horse I like PG sensitivity as the cause. Flavoring can be PG based so even max VG could have some PG in due to the flavoring. Have you had other allergy related issues before vaping?

Speaking of beating a Deadhorse, my avatar is a pic of me on the Snowcat in Deadhorse, Alaska.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Vaping is not for everyone, you might have to give it up. Suggest you see a doctor, something serious may be going on with your health and vaping may be only an outlier to an existing condition.

I agree with @BrotherBob . I too suspect a PG issue, but never leave your doctor out of the loop on things like this. If you can refill your device buy some straight food grade VG at a Walmart or drug store or some other place and use it in your device straight and see what happens. There won’t be any flavor or nic in it, but if it doesn’t cause you problems PG sensitivity is a likely culprit.
