So I would like to consider myself a relatively experienced vapor. I largely use clone attys with a handful of authentics and I feel that oftentimes the clones work just as well as the original. I know clones can be hit and miss. They can be fantastic or they can be completely unusable (stripped screws, spinning posts, melted insulators).

I've ran across a site that sells extremely cheap attys averaging $10 a piece, but 75% of them are labeled as EHpro clones. I'm curious as to everyone's thought on their products in comparison to the other clone companies (i.e. hcigar, tobeco, infinite, etc.).

Please give your input on EHpro and remember this is specifically the company itself and not any particular atomizer.

Thanks guys!

Asking for people's experiences with said "vendor" will probably get a better answer.

I started with authentic and have switched to clones. It takes a lot of research here and on other sites to determine the best clone maker for that item. And reviews do take time to get posted. That means I don't buy as soon as something hits the shelves. I don't mind.

For mods, I am authentic only though.

I have two items from EHpro -- a Kayfun clone, and the "Fallen Angel" mech, a clone of the Electric Angel. The EHpro mod is fandamntastic; couldn't ask for better quality. But the Kayfun clone... I really like tobecos better. The other day when I was rewicking the EHpro kayfun, I had a look inside the chimney-top, and figured out why I like the tobecos better: the EH pro chimney top does not have the "domed" shape, it's nearly flat. That inner dome shape makes a WORLD of difference in the flavor.

If you look at their website they seem to be transitioning now to mostly authentics.

Those kfl's and (most of) the SqRs were very nice clones. They have good, but not amazing machining on their authentics. I'm happy with the ones I have for the price I paid.

I also had an Atomic, which was modded for bottom feeding, and it was a nice clone as well. Most EHPro clones are non logoed.

My EHpro Kayfun has that obnoxious "Designed in Russia/Made in Germany" thing on the bottom, which a) is a lie, it's made in
China, and b) actually makes it a counterfeit rather than a clone. The Tobecos I have, have none of that -- actual clones.

Yes, they do. But, sometime after that they started making most clones non logoed.

Curious if your Achilles is logoed? You're nitpicking my choice in wording yet I haven't noticed if you call that a counterfeit when you post about it?

Sarcasm--very few people here seem to understand the difference between counterfeits and clones.

Seems very clear to me... if something is made like another product, but has none of the same logo/trademark emblems, it's a clone. If something is made like another product, and displays those logos/trademarks of the product it resembles, that's a counterfeit.

If you print your own money and it has Jeff Foxworthy as the guy in the middle of the bill, that's a clone, or a joke, and nobody cares. If you print your money and it has a dead president on it... the Secret Service will soon be paying you a visit. :D

I'm not sure actually. Who was the original made by, and what does their logo look like?

Frankly I don't really care one way or the other; I'd buy the original, now that I know how great they are, and they're not terribly expensive, about $40-$45 I think. But I have *never* seen them in stock anywhere online; don't think they even make them anymore.

But you're right, it could be an older KFL+ that has that garbage verbiage on it; it was really cheap.

The Achilles is made by Titanium Mods. So far every clone of it I've seen is technically a counterfeit. I'm sure its more than $40-45. My Prometey and Ataman II were $100-200.

The Achilles I bought is definitely a clone; it was only $25. I was PIF'ed another Achilles, and a Prometey, and I have some reason to think they *might* be authentics; the Achilles vapes just ever so slightly differently than the one I bought; hard to describe, it's very subtle, but it's definitely a bit different. And the laser etching is subtly different too, different spacing on the stars.
