This is my first post so I would like to tell my story. I started vaping 7 months ago after a minor medical scare. I knew nothing of quality or taste. After doing what I thought was research at the time, I end up using the V2 cig brand and made it 6 months, got married, and enjoyed my honeymoon analog free. Then my e cig started failing on me. I was ordering 4 batteries at at time and I was still having trouble keep my equipment operating. I was unable to stay ahead of equipment break downs and started buying cigars. After falling off the band wagon, I found this wonderful forum and just order an E-Vic with a pro tank and some tank atomizers. My order comes in tomorrow and I can't wait to throw away my analogs.

So Hi :blush:and any words of wisdom or tips for someone diving head first in to this hobby would be greatly appreciated.

Even a basic ego twist could have satisfied you, nice choice on protank very highly recommended by many but few problems with it (not failure issues tho) the puritank is what I have and no problems like the 1st protank, protank 2 came out still need to get 1 but it looks better then the puritank now but I still need to try it to say that.

Juice is the hardest part about vaping so find a good cheap company like mbv to buy flavors you like then go from there, imo using tobacco flavors in the beginning helps to forget about cigarettes also I recommend to chain vape as you will get no urges to want a analog and will make it x10 easier to just think about vaping and chain vaping can't hurt you (I vape every 30 mins about 5-10 hits and I never even have the urge to vape).

Also get backups for backups and backups for them, 1 drop of that glass protank could be it broken

The biggest tip was touched on by Warhawk. Get a backup. Then get a backup for your backup. It's so easy for something to break. Or you forget to charge the Evic. Same thing for your delivery devices too. I always carry my Provari, extra battery for it, a Twist, a standard eGo, 3 carto tanks and a Kanger T3. All of it except the Provari fits into a large eGo case. You probably don't want to end up in the same situation your in now, smoking while waiting for vapemail. Finally congrats on getting back to vaping, you'll really see a big difference between your V2 and the Evic.

Been vapin 3yrs now find what works best for you cause as time goes by you will come across many different devices and juices. I started with a 350mah battery that looked like a black cig and buying bottles of juice from $15 to $18 now i make my own for a couple of bucks and use a AC9 genesis style atty which cost pennies to rebuild my mod is a provari i got 2- 18650 batteries and are now 2yrs old i will be buying new batteries soon cause they should be on their last leg. So i have a very small budget on my e cig supplies now than when i first started so once youve blown thru a wad of cash like everybody does it will taper off once you find your likes and dislikes

What they all said , and don't be afraid to try things to find the experience you like. There is soooo much stuff out there and a solution for everyone to quit cigarettes if they really want to. 3 months ago I had no idea on how I was going to quit smoking before a friend turned me onto vaping. Then a 2 pack a day habit turned into a few a day, then one once every few days then nothing now for 6 weeks. Rebuildable drippers and mechanicals turned out to be my thing, who knew? lol. Best of luck on your journey.

the one thing i like about the mod batteries is that you just throw a fresh battery in and you good to go. i have some VV/VW batteries but to be honest you really dont need them and the evic to me looks really confusing. I always have extra parts, tanks, and addys with me and on occasion i even bring extra pre wrapped coils because i might just short a coil. always have a backup handy.

Threw my back out. Doing a bit better today. With the painkillers I can almost walk upright. Yesterday, I could barely walk at all. But, being stuck in my recliner gives me lots of time for ECF :) Thanks for asking.

I reload ecf a billion times a day lol, I sprang my knee 2 months ago and it still kills me somedays.
