Been vaping for a little over a week now. Quit analogs the day after I received my first setup. What a joy this has been. Very happy to be a part of the vaping community.

Started with a eGo-T Upgrade 650Mah x2, Upgraded to a eGo-C Twist 1100Mah and already jumped to the eVic, Been using the Kanger Protank and a couple of CE5's with a iClear30 on its way.

Having a hard time finding my ADV but ill get there. The girlfriend found hers at first taste (lucky her lol)

This has definitely became my new found hobby/obsession! Can not wait for different mods and new toys!

Really just happy to be analog free after 26 years!

Lol boys and their toys :)
Welcome and congrats to both of you. Isn't it great not smoking anymore?!

There are lots of helpful people here to get you there. Tell us about your preferences and I'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions to put you in the right direction of something more suited to your needs.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Im leaning towards the more fruity flavors, and im having a hard time with the local shops. One shop leaves a nasty sickly sweet after taste no matter the flavor (12mg 50PG/50Vg) the other shop is really clean and pure tasting just lacks the flavor punch im looking for (have tried from 24mg down to 12mg, not sure on the PG/VG i think its around a 60/40).

Just got some vape mail from jvapes.com ordered a sampler pack with the pursuit of happiness, yellow submarine and fire and ice (all 24mg 50PG/50VG). The pursuit of happiness is very tasty (its an Ry4 with vanilla and caramel)! I dont get the sickly sweet after taste so i dont think its the VG thats giving me the sickly sweet after taste like I was thinking. Cant wait to try the other two flavors.

Should be getting a large liquid order from Mt. Baker Vapor tomorrow. I really like the sounds of them. Ordered all 12mg with 80PG/20VG (their house blend)

I started at 24mg to help with the analog issue but found that it burned my throat pretty bad, 18mg does as well just not as bad. Going to stick with 12mg from now i think.

The apple flavors peak my interest and any of the Fruity Ice blends. Caramel, really want to play with Bavarian cream and something. As soon as I get narrowed down with flavors I would really like to start mixing my own juice. But thats to come. A lot to read and learn there!

What an adventure!

yes finding the right balance between pg/vg/nic/flavoring isn't always easy and then making sure if they are using flavorings or oils...
I have found with oils you get a perfumey after taste but gives a stronger flavor hit.
from what I have read pg = sweeter and more flavor and vg = thicker cloud and throat hit

keeping mind it is all personal preference...it has been suggested that with fruity flavors a higher vg (thicker draw and cloud) works well but then need to double the flavor % to boost the flavor up.

I tend to stick to a 50/50 pg/vg and vary on my nic levels depending on the day :D and around 30% flavor

I've only ordered once from Mt Baker Vapor and they have some good prices for the ml I think you might like them. I ordered clove flavoring from them but I like the spice clove...this was more a candy tasting...it's good but I like the spicy side of life more than the sweet lolol

diy is fun and frustrating and can save you money plus help you fine tune more to what you like....if you find a vendor with a flavor that is decent you can use it as your base for a diy and tweak it to meet your flavor need :)

there are a lot of info on diy and even still i'm confused...i'm more hands on so taking time but getting a e-juice calculator is definitely more important than I first thought...it has not only helped me get my blends down better but I can then quickly save what I have done and tweak til I find perfection (still to come lol)

I think Mt Baker will be a match for me. Ill let everyone know my opinion tomorrow. And their DIY supplies look promising.

As for the e-juice calculator I have seen a few out there but have not tried any of them out. Ill get into that while im traveling again.

From what I have experienced I am liking the lower nic levels, the burn and itch the higher mg (18mg and 24mg) gives me isnt nice. 12mg seems to be my happy place for now. Decent throat hit from a 50/50 and lots of flavor. Ill see how the 80/20 plays out. So many options and variations to play with.
