Well,

So far,so good.I received my bloog maxx fusion last Monday afternoon. That was the last time I smoked an analog. I've been a pack an a half smoker for 28 years.I have tried to quit analogs along the way, most smokers do try to quit.I've tried the patch and cold turkey.I was always miserable.I mean sure I felt better physically, but mentally,I'm a smoker.I'm addicted to every aspect of smoking. So when I decided to try vaping, well,it wasn't so much that I was quitting smoking, but I wanted an alternative to smoking. In my mind I told myself I was just switching to a new brand of cigarettes, not quitting.Well,so far it has worked.

My experience so far.The first day was the hardest for me.I couldn't seem to deeply inhale with the e-cig without having some pain.It just seemed stronger.I had also ordered the higher nicotine carts to make sure I could get some nicotine and then some.By the end of the first day,I was doubtful.I don't know,I just couldn't seem to inhale and puff like I did on cigarettes.I really thought I would send the product back.I decided to keep trying.I started inhaling into my mouth and pulling it in through my nose on the second day and for some reason beyond me it worked.By the second afternoon I was fully inhaling the vapor and getting all the little addictions I have satisfied. Now I'm puffing away like a trooper and looking for some good juice as I'm going through the carts. That's another thing.I can't really tell when I'm finished with a cart?
Another thing is I keep two flavors on hand, the reds and the 555.I switch them out through the day to enjoy the flavors more. When I can't fully taste one or the other,I switch them out and get to enjoy the flavor anew,is that normal?

Mostly I'm posting because I think this is going to work for me.I think it can work for many.I just wanted to tell folks they have to give it a chance.Go at it for more than a day.I keep one analog in my purse just for my own mind, but can't say I've had too much desire to have a go at it.

My family is pleased because I'm not smoking but more so because I am not "acting crazy"like I did every other time I quit smoking.Even on the patch,I was just a nasty mean person.I don't feel mean or anything like that vaping.I just feel happy I have possibly, quite likely, found the one thing to get me off the cigarettes for good.

Any advice on the juice would be helpful.Like 100 percent pv compared to 80/20 on the juices.Just haven't made up my mind on where to order from.I like the fruitiness of the reds, but really also enjoy the nuttiness of the 555's.Would be nice to have both.Any suggestions, except switching out and where to get some similar flavored juices?

Thanks to everyone in the forum as I just researched a ton here before I ordered my first e-cig.I couldn't have done it for real without everyones posts, good or bad.

First of all.... Congratulations on no longer smoking. Enjoy the journey..... :vapor:

I have accumulated a huge eclectic collection of juices because my tastes have been changing continually over the last 4+ months.

I have a wide range of nicotine levels, from 0 to 24 but seem to prefer +/-6.

I use multiple PG/VG mixes, from all PG to all VG. I even have some unflavored VG that I vape once in awhile but in general I prefer 60/40.

I used to think I might settle down to a few flavors, strengths, etc. but it hasn't happened yet... :)

But I am enjoying it and I don't smoke!

Grats!! The time will start to fly by!

re finished with a cart -

They are not carts. they are cartomizers aka cartos. And I never ever finish a carto. I keep a carto damp with juice and I add juice as soon as the vapor seems a bit light or a bit dry or if the carto seems to be running warmer. I am safer doing that since I have manual batteries. You need to be more careful to not get leaks since leaks can damage autos easier. Since I alternate vaping 2 main cartos, I can get at least a week's use out of a V4L (KR808D-1) carto, sometimes 2 weeks. Not as much life as I get out of the 510 Boges but still decent.

PV - you mean PG. Adding 20% VG gives a lot more vapor and dulls the TH, irritation, flavor a bit. It also makes the liquid a bit thicker (as thick as I will go with stuffing-type cartos - I still get decent performanc eover time out of a carto w/ 80pg/20vg).

first congrats on quitting its an amazing feeling when you know you dont have to pick up that analog and sit there and inhale all that nastiness. and its pretty normal to switch flavors through out the day. i actually went will mostly fruity flavors because it just gives me that kick and a nice taste all day long though i did order a couple of tobacco flavors just havnt tried them yet.
