I quit in November and haven't even wanted a cig. since.
I thought about what I used to smoke the other day and cigs. just seemed so alien to me. I would have never dreamed of thinking that way this time last year. After 40 yrs of smoking, E cigs are a life and lifestyle changer for me.

5 Months for me as well. Considering January resolutions it's not surprising. I'm more with Maxx on this one -- I didn't start vap'ing to quit smoking, but darn it if it didn't work out that way. To be honest, I still have that last pack of cigarettes I bought sitting in the freezer, though I've not had the urge or need to smoke one.

To me this is more a celebration of V4L than anything. Steve and crew, you've changed a LOT of people's lives! I'm sure I speak for the majority of us when I say "Thanks."

Max - Throat-punching is frequently just a form of greeting for me. It's the best way to say "Hello, and you're an idiot"... Therefore, I can't really assign it to any particular group of people like that. Too many idiots, too many calluses.

And on to the topic at hand: Let me check...

(Thanks, Dashiva!)

6 months, 1week. Wow. Crossed the six months and didn't even realize it. Really just haven't looked back since Day One in December.

So what are you all trying to say? Noooooooobody else ever wanted to throat punch a smoke nazi? I'm the only one....eh?

Oh I did one time Maxx, this b@tch was yelling at me for smoking to close to her parked car, windows rolled up, and she wasn't even in it! Just started yelling at me from down the street!
I just told her to stick it where the sun don't shine :D

I can hardly believe it but I'm a day away from the 8-month mark! I quit smoking from the moment I started vaping with my first V4L order and I'm very satisfied with the substitution. No more smelly cigs for me.

It really hit home with me when I was booking hotels for our summer vacation and I didn't even think about the hassle of finding a smoking room. I'm really digging this.

My husband (non-smoker) is delighted that I can finally smell smokers from a mile away. He used to tell me this all the time but I thought he was just neurotic. My bad.

Big congratz everyone!!! What I love is the effortless no-looking-back part. Unimaginable and totally unappealing to think of ever going back to cigarettes.
THAT was NEVER gonna happen. I mean, I LIVED on cigarettes.

Congrats everyone and keep up the good work! I will be 7 mos tomorrow and it's still
a real WOW! for me after 30yrs and up to 2 1/2 packs a day the last couple years! I went for over 6 mos without touching a smoke and decided to have one a couple weeks ago. Boy was that nasty! I would sure hate to lose e-cigs and go back to that again.
I have gained some weight that I think is because my system has slowed down. My heart rate even resting used to be close to 80 and now it is around 65! Got to get moving some more to get this weight off, but I'll take it over cigarettes any day!

Thank you, all, for your good wishes, and I congratulate you on your own success! VTech, I think you're leading the pack so far--I'm looking forward to that one-year mark myself--so you become my Official Vaping Yoda whether you like it or not. :D

On a side note. I had a cataract surgery today. The docs said I'm too young for it but had to do it. All went well, but when the anesthesiologist was checking me out, he stated with certainty: "you're a marathon runner, aren't you?" I had to smile. I actually walk a lot for exercise, but I was remembering my wheezy, coughy lungs half a year ago. Ah, the sweet joys of vaping continue!

Keep it going, everyone. You're part of my inspiration on a path that few others share. Glad we're all here. :toast:

Four months for me. Started august of last year with a 510, went to m702 then kr808 (finally discovered what vaping should be) then I found v4l. Didn't smoke my last analog until sometime in February. It's been a journey but I'm finally a happy ex-smoker. Bit o/t but I sometimes pity all the people going crazy with the auto drips and cart mods to get consistent vapor and flavor.
