I was just wondering what most size bottles people use in DIY and about how much you make in one sitting.

With new flavors I make 2ml single-flavor batches in 3ml bottles, to get the percentage right.
I often drip combinations of those single flavors into a tank or carto to develop recipes. When I hit on one I like, I make a batch in a 5ml bottle to be sure I've got the recipe right.
If it's a winner, I make a 10ml or 15ml bottle and record the recipe. If it's just okay, I scrap the recipe and try to vape the 5ml.
There are a handful of favorites I keep mixed in larger glass bottles, but I vape so many flavors, I usually stick to small bottles.
I make 2-10 batches at a time and mix at least a few times per week. I get cranky if I don't get to mix frequently![]()

I hope I don't get to that stage...I'd have to get a 6" round industrial dripper to consume enough juice to satisfy my DIY craving...

I tend to start off mixing single flavor tests in 2 dram vials (5ml juice in 8ml bottles), mixing those together in other vials until I get a flavor combo I like, upgrade that to 10ml juice in a 15ml dropper, and then finally mixing up 30-60ml of any ADV I find. To start off, I'd get 20 small vials and half a dozen 15ml and a few 60ml bottles.
Edit: just because I didn't make it explicit, I use larger bottles than the amount of juice I'm making because it is easier to shake & mix. Pain in the ... to mix 15ml in a 15ml bottle.
