Ok so you want to run your nautilus tank ideally at 4.7v in a device the size of a small mech?

If i have got that right and your using nautilus coils which are 1.6-1.8ohm and 4.7v would put your sweet spot at 12-13watts... So you could go for a tiny mech like the 4nine using 4.2v 18350 batteries, either recoil the heads to 1.3/4ohms or buy an aerotank mega and use the 1.2-1.5ohm coils in it for a nice vape around the same amount of watts your used to, the 0.8ohm kanger coils give a really good vape too.

Someone please correct me if any of the above is wrong i'm tryna learn the ohms laws and calculations and i think i got it but wanna kno if i havent.

4nine with an aerotank mega is a nice looking stealthy set up in my opinion and the best 18350 vape, nautilus looks good too i used to run a couple on mechs before i sold for the mega. The 4nine (49mm in 18350 mode) is so small even 18500 mode looks tiny if battery life is a concern

Even when the battery goes down to 3.7v and with a higher resistance coil like on the nautilus its a nice vape imo, so much so i ditched low variable power devices for them

Also if your worried about your nautilus glass breaking, have a look at this http://store.vaporcig.com/aspire-nautilus-replacement-tank-with-stainless-steel-reinforced-cage looks propa nice IMO and would defo have one if i still had a nautilus

The battery situation determines what you can use. If charging isn't a problem or you don't mind carrying several smaller batteries in your car, then there's no problem with finding a short body mod. Most people will put up with the longer length just to eliminate battery changes or carrying a charger.

Chargers today are small. A dual bay Trustfire or Nitecore I4 is a small solution to good charging for a $15 price. They work with 12v sources as well as 120v.

I just want to express again how grateful I am for everyone who suggested these. I researched each and every one this weekend, and bookmarked some that I may pick up later.

But I ended up ordering an iTaste MVP 2.0. Yes, please take a moment to laugh at me. The cop-out deserves nothing less; especially after saying that I didn't want a square one. But it's a trusty unit, and I think the more I look at the box units, the more I can get behind the idea. But I may get one of these other ones soon...what an expensive hobby this may prove to be. Thanks again all.

After having used tubes for more than a year I've really grown to love my box mod. The size is near perfect and it's actually more comfortable to hold and use in my big hands.

And it's not THAT big either. This is my Cloupor DNA30 clone along with my Halo Triton and Kicked Nemesis...

Once you get past the box design it's hard to deny that the MVP is a fantastic entry level mod. You should be quite pleased with it.

have you bought it already or still looking for a good price...
i still giggle every now and then at the mental image of me vaping on a walkie talkie  but other than that I'm impressed the mvp 2 does everything that my TECs did on a smaller scale and fits nicely in my work shirt pocket and at like half the freaking weight

Found one for $38 http://www.fairy-gift.com/innokin-itase-mvp-v20-p-58.html

I know, perfection would be nice but does it exist?

Just a suggestion but, what about a clip on cell phone case like for a Blackberry or similar? Clips on to your belt or waist band. I found one at the Dollar Tree but they are all sold out in our store. I would think that anything that's in a pants pocket could get broken.

Quoting my reply here to update it a bit.

I was at Menard's yesterday and was in the tools area where the tool belts and holsters are. They have some very nice cell phone holsters with a clip on the back. We don't have a Home Depot or Lowes here but I imagine they would carry some also.

Edit; Good price for an MVP here too http://strictlyecig.com/innokin-itazte-mvp-v2-0-all-14-styles/

Damn, good prices guys. I went with the Mount Baker kit, got some extra juice and a spare clearo. Solid price, but 37 is killer....hmm.

To make things more complicated, I went to my favorite shop here tonight and the owner had a DNA 30. He let me have a puff, and dear lord, that thing is truly amazing. (Good call realsis!) I may end up just using this MVP for awhile, and giving it to my friend who I want to quit smoking...and going all out with the DNA eventually.

Side note, if you guys are ever near Burbank, CA- Vape Madness is the place to go. I must have stopped by a dozen shops before finally finding a place where they truly care, and know their stuff at the same time. I'm shocked by how rare that is.

And good call Gandy, I'll have to check out my local Home Depot here. Ya, I could see even making one myself, though I'm not too crafty/handy. Might be a fun project though.
