good morning...well, not so good...so I was just sitting here with my morning vape on my eGo-T, when I hit the button and it starts sizzling...I mean like bacon...kinda sizzle! so I switch out attys, as I often do because I vape hot and heavy, and the second atty sizzles like hell too...and both had a burning taste to the hits. so I try a different battery for trouble shooting sake. the atty that got sizzled first: I hit the button and it just blinks. the second atty hits fine. So then I attempt to put the sizzling battery on the charger...no blinks on the the batt as I screw it in, and the charger does not turn red.

so two questions:
A) is the batt shot?
B) is the atty that just blinks when on the good batt shot?

So many views, and noone has responded. I feel that sometimes these questions, although they're in the right Forum Thread, should be placed in the "Ask a Veteran".

I've noticed a lot of questions go unanswered and when they do, they're not "real" answers and just lead to more questions.

Best of luck finding out what you need to Biker.

(I'm a newbie, and so I have never experienced what you have, or heard a story similar, so am unable to help)

One: are you positive your charger is plugged in all the way? That red light should be on constantly if it is.

From my experience, your attys are not getting enough juice. If they're sizzling, they're good. If you're using a tank, have you tried pushing down the wick a little? That usually works for me.

Yes, I tested a "known good" battery in the charger after the safety switch light did not blink on the "sizzled" battery...the know good battery flashed as it generally does and the "charging" indicator on the charger side did turn red on the good battery, but not the "fried" one..

The atty had been vaping quite well on that battery for 12 days prior. And the sizzling that happened slightly before everything went dead was about 5 times louder than the normal sizzle of juice being vaporized, it was loud enough to make me jump...lol. and that hit had a pronounced burnt taste. Im pretty sure both are fried beyond repair, Im just curious as to what may have caused it.
