I have a question about forum policy.

A member opens a thread to rail against an honest supplier and it is allowed to continue for 4 days (and is still open): http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/32986-getting-......-rocky-mtn-vapor.html

Another member opens a thread, well documented, about the incessant drama that another supplier has thrust on this forum (and has been well documented and discussed since the drama started in March when I joined), yet it is closed in a matter of ~2 hours: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/34131-about-gg.html

Help?

If we can't discuss issues in supplier-controlled forums, can we discuss them at all (and if so, in which forum)? Or is this an issue of the former not paying for a forum where the latter does?

Can someone on the admin team clarify?

Be well,

i was the moderator who closed the GG thread it was done due to reporting from another user. closing the threads while me and the other moderators review it to determine weather or not to open it,move it or other action that may need taken. the OP was advised of the action taken by me. the OP point was to get his information out and all i saw was pointless responses and more flame wars. Imeo the supplier in question is on holiday and is unable to defend himself. would you not also ask them same to be done if you where in his shoes.

as per rocky that is now under review

Thank you, Duckies!

I'm also disturbed that this thread was closed - and in such short order.

I'm one of the people that has had issues with this supplier. Complaints or negative comments are heavily censored on his sub-forum and swept under the rug.

I'm not looking for the closed thread to become a flame war, but there should be a place where people can express their concerns over the problems they have and this supplier's business practices and ethics.

Please consider opening this thread.

Imeo has access to a computer while on holiday and has been defending himself quite well.

There is already a 26 page thread on this in the GG forum. How much more can be said on it without just causing more problems?

1) Imeo is aware of the problem.
2) Everyone who reads there is aware of the problem.
3) How many more threads do we need about it?

Now, as Mage said....this is all being reviewed by the mods. But one thing for sure, there's not going to be a bunch of threads opening about it around the forum.

Things need to be sorted out....and that is not the way to go about it. So let's all just relax and just try to get the issue resolved rather than ranting about it all over the place.

Hope that answers all your questions. If it doesn't, please feel free to PM the mods or SJ.
