Several yrs ago I watched my husband die as a result of lung cancer. I tried many times to quit and felt like a failure each time I picked up an analog. I am thankful for not feeling that way anymore. I am thankful for my children and the fear gone from thier eyes when I cough. I am thankful that I can breathe again without restraint. I am thankful for the yrs I have added to my life. I am thankful for this site and e-cigs.

wow- my kids fight like cats and dogs- I even have two dogs that are brothers that fight like my 2 oldest boys.... (they are joined at the hip, and refuse to be seperated, but, tie into each other the second they get together... - The boys AND the dogs.. The only time they dont fight is when they are sleeping- side by side.... .)

Today I am thankful that I have gotten 13 years and 11 months with my dog Duke- He has been my rock, my confidant, and was my salvation when I was told I couldnt have kids. I have lost animals over the years since we married, and since BR brought me Duke, and my heart broke each time, but I think this is the worst.

Today I am thankful that my first post here was 1001 and that means I found enough great caring people here that I wanted to stay and help others as others have helped me in the past.I thank God each and everyday that I found ECF and all the great people on this forum and I even thank her for the not-so-great people, because they taught me a lesson; Like how to get refunds on paypal ROFLMAO.

#4 My parents, who are both long gone in body, but are with me everyday in spirit. They were brilliant free spirits, with childlike wonder of all things in the world. My father could capture an audience of thousands and have them all in tears from laughter (that dog Yogi stories) and my mom would dance to Layla all through the house like a Flower Child at Woodstock, simply free and full of the joy of the music. Mom loved children and taught them all of her life, at her funeral so many of her students came (she taught first grade and art) and told me of how she impacted them and influenced the course of their lives. She was unique in all ways and will be remembered always by the ones she touched. I was blessed to have them as parents, it wasn't perfect, God we had our problems, but I wouldn't change anything, they were sooo special to so many...
