After a year of pretty much only using 510 and 306 atties, plus a few cartos here and there for my tanks, I decided to try out 801 atomizers, which was really just an excuse to get a few new accessories for my SS GGTS. I got my SLB 801 today and it's registering at 2.8 ohms. I'm vaping it at 4.8 or so volts using a 600 mAh 5v battery mod on my SS GGTS with the air flow set to totally unrestricted. I'm getting solid vapor, but there's a really strange metal taste to my vapor that I don't get when I vape one of my normal 510s. I'm assuming that it's just the primer, but I'd like some clarification from anyone who knows more about 801s. I'm getting the same taste at 3.7v btw (checked on 3 different devices).
