All I do is mix 50% PG with 50% VG to get my base at 25 mg. THen I add menthol drops that I made from menthol crystals. I crush the menthol crystals up real fine and then fill a 3ml bottle about 3/4 full with the crushed crystals then add PG to fill the bottle. THen I place the bottle in hot water to warm everything up and then shake the bottle to desolve the crystals. I add the menthol drops to the PG/VG mix. For every ml of base I add about .7 to 1 drop per ml of base. Just start with a few drops, maybe .3 drops per ml, and keep adding to you get the hit you want. I don't know if anyone would like this but me as juices are so subjective but it works for me. For variety you can add flavors, such as Capellas, to the mix. I've used Vanilla Custard (capellas).
I bought some 100 mg PG as a base. What i do is mix 10 ml of this with 10 ml of PG. THen I mix 20 ml of VG to this. So I end up with 40ml of 25mg in a 50/50 mix of PG/VG. Then add the drops to taste.

But your comparing a carto to a carto in that particular case. The MAP tank is a ce2 carto.
Any carto gives up taste compared to an atomizer is what I was trying to say. IMO of course
. That said, I love cartos though!

eastmall LR are a good price and they last a long time, I had a bad experience with the cisco lr306 so I go cheap now a days
I'm with Elendil on this about cartos.
When I try attys it's hit or miss with the flavor. I've tried lr510s and lr306s and they are too hot for me. I've tried 2.0 510s and 306s and they are still a bit on the warm side for me but better than the 1.5lrs. The standard 510s and 306s are better but the flavor is still hit or miss for me. I wish ikenvape made standard 510s and/or 306s attys to see how they work.
The 2.0 Boge cartos are too warm for me. My favorite cartos are the ikenvape's IKV 510 Cartomizer Gold V2 w/drip tip. I'm waiting for him to restock them w/o the drip tip as they are suppose to be the twin to the drip tip ones but less expensive. The flavor with these are consistent and a the temp is just right for me.

A local vendor ePuff.ca has really good menthol juice, haven't been able to replicate it but I suspect it's tobacco, menthol, and sweetener. My DIY is more like yours, pure menthol.
I've used the premade menthol drops and they worked fine. I had a package of the crystals laying around so a few weeks ago when I had used up the premade drops I started using the crystals. I don't think there is any difference other than the strength of the mentol might be different. It does save a few dollars though using the crushed crystals though.
Has anyone tried the Bauway LR510 atties? ValueVapor has a great price on them, but I haven't heard any feedback.
Wheww, tried to respond earlier and got a hard "server bump." They are OK. Got a couple from avejuice. The 1.8 metered at 2.1, but they've been in the rotation for 3-4 weeks and holding up OK. I generally prefer the Cisco, but if you can get the Bauways at a good price, why not?
I tried two Bauway 306 attys from COV. Neither lasted very long and I didn't use them that hard. I've read good things about their 510's but haven't tried them myself.
I have one thats been ok and meters at 1.8. I havent had it long enough to find out its life span but I've used it for about two weeks now. It was tasting bad so I dewicked and debridged it a couple of days ago.
