Hi JJ. You probably read mine where I stated, "I do. When I bought my SLB KGO set the charger it came with had the same input/output as my eGo charger. "

Brent then stated, "No a Joye eGo charger will not charge the KGO. Joye has some kind of proprietary connector that won't work with the KGO.
But the KGO charger will charge a Joye eGo... Go figure."

Since reading Brent's post, I now use only the KGO charger that came with the KGO kit.

Hope this helps. :)

BTW - I did watch the YouTube video of the Kgo vs AW IMR 18650. That was rather impressive.

Both videos on HoosierEcig's site sold me on the KGO.
I'm really surprised there is such a small 'following' on such a great product.

Hopefully you'll get your hardware issues squared away.
Hey! Maybe that big hammer you have in your signature line could help resolve your hardware issues...ha!

Now that some of you have had your KGO's for a while, are you still happy with them? Are you getting the time between charges you expected? I'm having mixed thoughts about mine (comparing it to a standard Riva) and was wondering what others think.

I have several Riva 510's and a KGo. I've been using the KGo for almost 3 months and it still performs like the day I received it. I use both with 1.7 Ohm single coil mega cartos. When someone offers the KGo in a carto kit I will purchase another for myself and one for my Son.

More than likely they're the same thing. The KGO can be boxed from the manufacturer(SLB) as an eGo, KGO, or Riva(if I bought enough I could probably have them box it as the BrentGo). I don't know for sure who made the "Riva" you're using, but if it was SLB then yes it's the same thing.

Thank you Brent_MC and BTW I just ran across Hoosier E-Cig from this thread. Looks like great prices and from what I read great service.

My KGO arrived. I have a battery on the charger, which requires an initial 8 hour charge. Trying' to be patient... Ha! Thought I would share a pic showing how the titanium KGO looks with a EMDCC.

Looks sharp to me... Can't wait to fire it up!

Awesome pic! Kewl ash(less) ashtray! :)

Does anybody have the ability to do a side-by-side comparison of a KGO and a "standard" Riva/ego/etc? One with an EMDCC would be excellent. I have a Riva SE now, would like to move up, just curious how much longer the KGO would be.

Thanks for the info, I think I can visualize that.

Another quick question, since the KGO looks to have the same diameter as a RIVA, would a Riva cone work to run on a KGO? The new cones that come with the KGO will handle the bigger diameter cartos, and I'd love to be able to switch back and forth.

Just to follow up, Bill from NWVapors.com just emailed me to say that he's going to
cannibalize one from a battery he has on hand and send it off.

He mentioned that he's getting replacement buttons shipped from the factory so anyone that
winds up in a similar situation will be able to get them from him soon.

Good to know! Thanks for sharin' this info.:)

Just had a weird issue with my new kGo set that you all may be able to help me with.

I have been using an EMDCC with my kGo batts for a week. All of a sudden, I pull one of the batts off the charger, drop the EMDCC on it and when I push the button it flashes 4 times. Thought the batt was bad but I tried an XL dual coil and it fired fine. Then I put the EMDCC on my other batt and it is working fine.

What causes the 4 blinks and why would it do it on one batt but not another with the exact same carto?

That happened to me with one EMDCC. You need to lift the center post on the carto for the KGO that blinks. When you put the carto on the other KGO... It will work but it will also push the center post back down. You'll have to lift the center post again when you put it back on the KGO that flashed.

I'm not sure why this happened with only one of my emdcc's... But it did none the less.

Here's a vid that will show you how to lift the center post...

Raising the center post has become the standard ritual these days.

For the newbies, be aware that some earlier posts recommended raising the center post on the battery. This should only be done as a last resort because it is easy to break the tiny wires.

Breaking a $3 carto is bad enough. Breaking a $20 battery is worse.
