Got the three SLB 1100 batteries today - thanks for the immediate shipping, Brent :)

Won't be able to test them without an 8 hour charge, and as soon as my new batteries and charger came the spousal unit expropriated my two eGo-T batteries, a charger and an EMDCC -

her: What's in the box?
me: The batteries I ordered.
her: Didn't you get a charger for me so I can use big batteries too? (note: she's shown no interest in this so far)
me: Yes, I did - but I need the second charger for a day to charge all three of these batteries. I'll give you the charger tomorrow.
her: Well that's not fair.
me: I'm not in that big a hurry - here's a charger and a couple of batteries (gives spousal unit two charged and one half-charged 900mAh batteries and a charger)
her: Don't I get one of those big cartridges? (points at my EMDCC).
me: You said you didn't like them - that they were too strong. (she currently uses 2.5 ohm Smoktech mega cartos on her 510 XL batteries)
her: Well, they look nicer than my cartridge and a cone. Did you order any for me?
me: Well, no - I didn't know you wanted them but I've got plenty and can order more.
her: Never mind, I can just use my small cartridges.
me: I'm going to kill you in your sleep but before I do that I'm gonna fix you up (fills a new EMDCC and hands it to her)
her: Thank you, honey (puts it down and continues vaping on the 510)

Sheesh.

:D

I got my Kgo starter kit yesterday from Hoosier E Cig Supply - super fast service and shipping. I've been doing side by side comparisons with them today against my Ego's. My main interest was performance with the EMDCC since that's my current favorite to use. It's obvious that the Kgo has more power, and it was the winner hands down in every category. Bluntly, it's a great looking top performer at a reasonable price, and it beats the Ego. Everything that works on the Ego will work on the Kgo, and I was also concerned about that. I will be able to use everything I have. Notice the signature - it now contains Kgo. I'm a happy customer.

I wanna run it dead before I post a more comprehensive opinion but I will say that I've run one of these batteries through the 8 hour charge/vape 20 minutes/one hour charge cycle and since then I've vaped on the thing got about four hours with a vapingzone EMDCC clone and as far as I'm concerned these batteries kick maximum ... :)

After four hours use the thing still hits as at least as hard as my 900mAh 3.7v Smoktech batteries do straight off the charger - I do wanna see how long the thing will last but so far I'm sold.

six, you need to get a couple of these :D

Well, the battery lasted me 3½ hours less than a full day - which is about where I figured we'd be. I figure I ran about 2.5ml through an EMDCC with it - about half of the time with a 1.4Ω vapingzone EMDCC clone and the other half with a 1.6Ω genuwyne Smoktech EMDCC.

More impressive though - it performed *much* better than either a 900mAh 3.7v Smoktech battery *or* a 900mAh Joyetech battery. I think you'd be hard pressed to find an eGo-style battery that performs better than these 1100mAh SLB batteries.

I'm sold - I think these are my new go-to battery :)

It appears I'll be getting the wife her KGo kit sooner than expected. One of her 900 EGO's bit the dirt last night.
Anyone know a place to get a KGo kit with cartos instead of the atty/carts? I really despise paying for something I do not need/want.

Why not just buy the batteries and a charger and then get EMDCCs from madvapes or vapingzone?

Well decided to take the plunge and put in an order for the KGo, been using a Jessy M for 3 weeks which allowed me to get off analogs after 34 years(2 pack a day habit), but just isn't everything I need, (I work 12+ hours a day), will see how this does and then try to convince my 71 y.o. mother to do the same... besides I should be able to trust someone from her home state (Hoosier State) :)

I think some people (like me) would appreciate an objective review of the Jessy - I think the 3.5-3.7 volt range is a little narrow to be a serious contender as a VV device but I haven't seen a real review yet.

Objective I can definitely do, knowledgeable, well thats a different story as I just started vaping about a month ago, started off with one of those ecigs you get in a mall that totally turned me off to vaping until I heard about a local shop that had hardware and juice. They sold me on the Jessy compared to that mall ecig. I've never used it on any of the lower settings so I can't really compare it as a VV device. So far it's the only real ecig I've owned until the KGo gets here then I will have something else to compare it to.

The short end of it, dripping and cartos do well with it ( I use both the 2.0 and the 1.7 with it) The cartridges with the atty set up do not do so well and I have all but givin up using that type of set up. The button seems a bit flimsy and 2 of the 3 batts that I have ( I got three to last me a trip of 12+ hours though I have yet to test how long they last) needed a bit of tweaking to make good contact. Overall I'm happy with it as I quit a 34 year habit on it. Once I have the KGo I'll have something to compare it to, again I'm so new to all of this and still have a lot of learning to do so what your getting is a new persons take on the product, so it's from a fresh pair of eyes in this world of vaping. I will get into more detail in a fresh thread once I have both in hand. :)

I got my Kgo in the mail Monday and after the initial charge it has been going strong since. It does seem to have a little more kick than my Cignot Ego 1000. I also got one of those dual coil cartos to try and after a little frustration and a lot of patience, I finally got it to soak up Vaperite waffle liquid. Yummy!!! As much as I love my Ego -T type B tanks for vapor production and ease of use, I can't understand why they make the flavors so muted. Thanks a bunch Brent, I'll definately be ordering again!
