Thanks to Brent for very quick shipping of s'more KGOs (love my KGOS), and for being very kind to me on the phone when I called to say that they weren't working. This, as he patiently informed me, was because I hadn't activated 'em (the other 2 don't have the 5-click function, and do I RTFM? Even when it's been hand-placed by Brent on the top of the box? No, I do not). :)
But YAY! THAT was easy...

And Merry Christmas Brent, and one and all!

Love the Kgo's. I've been vaping for two days and still haven't charged it once. It still hits great.

That leads me to my question. When do I know when to charge the battery?

Should I just charge it every two days or I read somewhere to see for the button to blink. Does the button contently blink, cause sometimes I just vape and dont pay attention to the button.

Thanks

The button does blink, but no need to worry - when the battery reaches its low-voltage cutoff it'll stop working. I'd charge it then :D

There is some evidence that recharging a battery before it's completely dead is better for the battery than letting it cut off on you. I've got four KGO batteries in rotation and I just make the battery change part of my morning routine - I fill the tank, change the battery and go about my business.

Hope this helps -

Just placed an order for a KGO! I'm pretty psyched. I already have two mods(both running at 3.7 volts), but I saw hoosier's video comparing the Kgo with AW IMR 18650(and I'm only using Trustfire 18650s) and it sold me quick. Really looking forward to having something that will be more travel friendly and less conspicuous.

After a few suggestions and many positive reviews I ordered my KGOs just the other day. I'm now impatiently waiting for them to ship (stupid postal holidays :(). I've been using Kr808s for the last year and I'm really looking forward to something that will provide a better vape with a longer lasting battery. I also ordered a 5 pack of the 1.7ohm single coil XL cartomizers, 2 of the Ego 5 ml 1.5 ohm dual coils and 3 of the clear 1.5 ohm dual coils all from Smoke Tech along with an adapter for my vast supply of 808 cartos.

Can most of these be filled in similar ways to how I fill my 808 cartos or will I need to pick up a needle and syringe for some of them?

GREAT choices imo! Are we twins? ;) You CAN fill them all by dropping, shake down (like a thermometer) then drip an repeat, but it will take a loooong time to do that. You can easily top them off like that, but I suggest a syrynge for the first fill, mainly so you're sure it's evenly distributed at the bottom and you don't take that first hit and burn your brand new carto! Most vendors actually supply a syringe with most of the cartos you listed....not sure about Smoktech. I you DO go w/the drip/shake or drip/twirl method, be sure to let them sit upright (fill end up) overnight or so and then maybe check/top off again before you vape it. Better safe than sorry ;)

Enjoy, you're gonna soooo love it :)

Wow! I'm glad I asked. That is one thing I really like about 808 cartos. There a couple of different easy fill methods and burning a one was a little difficult. The syringe method does seem like it will be less messy and wasteful though. I guess I'll be hitting the drug store sometime this week to get a syringe and a needle.

I'm going to go look for some tutorials on this method now.

Thank you for the reply and the information. I am really excited and looking forward to getting this new setup.

Can always do the condom fill method too. I usually do that for the first fill and then let it sit a good half hour. Then top off as needed. That way the juice is at the bottom to begin with.

True, but some cartos like the emdcc don't come with condoms ;) In a pinch, like I said you CAN use other methods, it's just easier/more efficient to use a syringe on the larger ones (especially 5 ml) for the first fill. A syringe will last you a good long time too...just make sure to clean it between flavors.

I've said it before, I love my Kgo. I also have a VV mod but I seem to always enjoy the Kgo.

For some reason when I set the VV to 3.7-4.1v it doesnt hit as good and taste as good as the Kgo.

I got my from Hoosier e-cig and recently had a issue with one of the batteries and Hoosier has excellent customer service.
