Been enjoying the KGO for a while now. Always use them with EMDCCs. Now i read about the 1.7 XL, is that the 5 pack single coil 510? And maybe any other carto that is good for KGO? I wanna try new stuff.
Got the J-tank too with the carto's that belong to it but it just wont work for me.. Nasty taste all the way. Tried like 10 carto's, and it sucks big time compared too EMDCCs. Would like to hear what u guys think of this combo.

I would definitely advise trying the 1.7 resurrector with the KGo. Brent carries them.

New guy here...I'm toying with the idea of trying out a KGo based on all the great reviews. I'm using a Volt 808 and am very happy with it, but want to experiment and also intrigued by more vapor. I've checked out the cartomizer/atty-cartridge options and am inclined to try it with cartos at first. But what is a "resurrector"? I'm seeing 1.7 ohm and 2.0 ohm cartomizers that look like they should work well with the KGo. ?

A resurrector is a 1.7 ohm single coil Smoktech carto. Brent sells them.

Hey Rick,,, I'm using 808s right now too, and expecting delivery of my new kGo today.. I decided on the kGo based on all the great reviews here. The resurrectors also come very highly recommended.. seriously can't wait to try it! My little 808s have been fabulous and got me off the analogs but I'm guessing the kGo is going to be SO much better. From what I read here, the kGo seems like a really good upgrade from the 808s,,, especially if you're like me and a little intimidated by the mods. I say go for it,,, price is good and Brent has really good customer service.

Yeah, I was very pleasantly surprised by the price of the kit, and he comes highly recommended as well. Looks like he's going to be out of touch for a few days though, so debating whether I should pull the trigger immediately or wait.

omg I am jealous! When I ordered mine, the only "color" besides black was pink. So I ordered pink (and I am NOT a "pink" fan at all). I saw red on another site and liked it though. Now he has blue???? Oh well, pink works fine (and I ordered some skins for it to make it purple, even better!)

I got my KGO last friday and I'm really enjoying it especially the long battery life, I just placed another order for some cartos and juice but I'm a little bummed because when I placed my order it didn't say he'd be on vacation a few days...the order must have gone through right before that was posted so I'm in limbo...I'll be patient I guess but if I knew that I would have gotten juice from V4l since im almost out..

EDIT: I'm not sure if I clicked on the homepage where I would have seen the vacation message because there is a fair chance I just went right to the KGO stuff..could be my fault

Question for you guys. I bought a DCC tank and it doesnt seem to work right. I filled it with juice and dripped some inside too with the drip tip off but all it does is make a little crackling sound and doesn't make vapor...sometimes it will give me a very small hit but that's all. Any ideas for me to try I never had a tank before.

Sounds like a dry carto. The carto's gotta be wet for things to wick out of the tank.

I think I give up...There is no airflow it's like sucking on a plugged up straw and I'm pretty certain the filler is wet. It's really odd the thing gets hot but no vapor comes out.

And then I went to try it again a minute ago and when I go to vape the battery stays on for one second and then starts blinking...what a cruel world we live in.

Try a different cartomizer. I had one that would not wick all the way up-however I was still getting enough juice on the coils to vape it, the top of it was just shriveled up and dried out lol. I like the idea of not refilling a carto all day but tanks can also be a hassle at times.

Yeah I was thinking maybe a bad carto somehow which is not unheard of right?

Love, love my KGOs. I have 7 of 'em now. Using 1.5 dual coil smoktech cartos. Keep waiting for a burn, but all's good so far, and I ride 'em hard. The metallic red is really pretty, too.

I am looking for some info about my KGO. I was using it this morning ( had been vaping with it for about a hour after charging it for 4 hours ) with the same Vision eGo Clearomizer I have been using the past couple of days. It didn't stop firing when the button was released but the blue light went out so I quickly unscrewed the carto. Soon as I got the clearomizer off the button began blinking and hasn't stopped. It shows to be putting out .98 VDC when checked with volt meter. Everything looks fine and the center connector isn't touching the side.The carto is working fine on my other battery . Any Ideas what could have happened? The battery has been trough about 15 cycles.


UPDATE :It was/is the Vision Clearomizer. It did it to my other battery but the blinking stopped on the second Battery as soon as I unscrewed the carto . I went back to the other Vision Clearomizer ( I bought 2 to try ) and it is working well other than a funny taste due to me using orange in it without cleaning the watermelon out first. I guess something is shorting inside the first carto when moved a certain way or something , IDK. It has no resistance now so whatever happened internally stayed that way. Lesson learned , Fully investigate something like this before risking your back up. It is odd , My original battery is still blinking over 12 hours later and I have no Idea what to do to stop it.
