Hi Guys,

I've been using two Youde Aga-t5's for a while now and they have been pretty good for the most part, however just last week I got a new batch of juice from MtBakorVapor and they haven't been working quite as good.

I ran out of the pre-made coils that they came with so I decided to make some of my own which came up at about 0.6ohms (the pre-mades were 0.7ohms) and when I dry-burned them initially didn't see any hot patches, etc that indicate a bad coil. Keep in mind these were made with 24 gauge kanthal.

The new juice I bought was 100% VG and it worked fine for 2-3 days but suddenly in the morning before I left home I had a quick vape to see if it was all okay and it tasted quite burnt. I wouldn't say that the burnt taste was as bad as what I have had in the past with the crappy EVO-D/clearomizers from 2013 but they still didn't taste right nevertheless.

I have tried to change the coil multiple times as well as trying many different amounts of japanese cotton for wicking to no avail. (e.g. more, less, and also thining out the ends)

I thought it must have been the 100% VG so I went to grab some PG and diluted it back down to the usual 25/75 I had before I got my new order from MtBakerVapor but it still tastes burnt after a good clean and rebuild.

I am stumped as to why it has suddenly tasted as such as it was such a pleasent vape prior to this.

P.S. the burnt taste is much, much more worse when I exhale through the nose but I can definitely taste it when exhaling through the mouth. I've stopped vaping on them for now and am using a few Protanks I had lying around for now.

If anyone had any ideas I'd be more than glad to try and see if they help me fix my issue.

Thanks heaps.

Have you checked the insulator? If not, I would do that next. If its fine, I would break it all the way down, and soak it for a few hours in alcohol, give it a good scrub and rinse and see if you still smell it anywhere.

I used to use 70vg in mine with no issue and a 0.6 ohm coil on a mech.

The insulator on the bottom with the 510 pin?
