Just awhile ago, when i was in the midst of vaping my LT. I heard a slight explosion coming out of my LT. Sounds like someone dropping a book from waist height. I was stunned, my hand was still pressing on to the button you press to vape, and i was still inhaling. I stopped after that and took out the battery, here is the problem. I cannot smell anything burning, neither was there smoke coming out. I tried to vape a few more puffs and it was functioning properly still. What am i suppose to do now? Ps, this LT is not even 1 week old.

Well as you know the coils may pop and crackle, but that is diff than an explosion sound. I use tanks and sometime that pop sound is amplified by the tank and juice and can sound worse.

Did the unit heat up at all, get warm to the touch?

What battery do you have?

What will happen if the tank gets warm?

Iif you are referring to a TubeTank/DCT that is a juice reservoir, the only thing that will happen from it getting warm is the juice becomes more fluid and you can flood the carto.

If the device/unit becomes warm, their are protections built into it that will trigger and the device will limit itself and restrict usage.

AW IMR batts are protected too, and if they heat up or notice an over discharge then it too will shut off.

So by using those batts with the device you have double protection. But accidents can happen, that is why we call them accidents.

I don't think AW IMR batteries are protected -- what they are is a fairly safe chemistry, able to handle fairly large current. Batteries called AW ICR protected are the ones that have protection electronics added.

(I could be wrong, but the above is my understanding.)

And yes I think you may be correct with this IMR vs IC
