I get a slight gurgling most of the time. If you are getting decent vapor then the atomizer is likely not flooded. The only way to prevent flooding the atomizer is not dripping to many drops into it (if you're dripping) and not overfilling the cartridges (if you are using carts). If using a cart with filler it should look like a slushy - not a pool of liquid in the cart. Lastly, if it is gurgling and you are not getting much vapor, you can just blow it out and wipe off the threads real good before putting the battery back on.

A small gurgle is OK as long as you are getting good vapor (you may get the best vapor when that is happening). Lound gurgling could be flooded atty or spit in the air channels of the cart. Check the atty - remove, blow through it hard into a tissue, make sure both halves of battery connection to atty is dry. If cart, take off cart and try blowing hard into it (hold a tissue in front to catch any spray but don't press against the juice cup or you will suck juice out of where it belongs too).

How not to flood - don't fill too much. I also usually set my cart PVs down on an angle, leaning on something low and angled down toward the cart. And when I vape I tilt down toward the LED. And when your white stuffing gets cranky and not wicking nicely or dumping juice too often, you can try cleaning and drying the replacing the stuffing or try switching it to blue foam. get precut blue foam for standard 510 carts at strictlyejuice.com

i have a tendency to overfill my cartridge. when i do this, i just tilt the battery end up a bit when i hit and it usually stops. from what i've read here over the past several months (i quite literally read 90% of the threads that had to do with 510's, got mine, and have been using it for 3 weeks before i actually registered) a liquid gargling sound won't cause any actual damage. even if you flood the atty, you can just let it drain out. a crackling type gargle is bad though. then something is wrong with the atty. if your cart starts leaking, tip the battery end down and/or pull off the cart and tap a bit of juice off with a napkin or whatever. note that for the next hit or two, you'll probably still get a tiny bit of juice in your mouth. but hey, some people like that lol

does a slight bubbly sound mean that the atty is flooded? and if so how can i prevent that from happening.or is a little gurgle normal when inhaling?

The most important rule that I learned before I got my pv was to always keep the atty wet, and I knew from the get-go that I wanted to drip. When I got mine (recently, I'm still a newbie) I was paranoid about letting it dry out, so the moment I stopped hearing a gurgling sound I would fill it up again. But my draw was quite laboured and there was never that much vapour produced until the gurgle stopped, the vapour picked up then but with less flavour. After a week of use I let it soak in some isopropyl for 5 minutes, and after having let it dry up for a day I tested it again. It required many drops just to prime it after such a thorough cleaning, it was producing massive amounts of vapour and I had to keep adding drops after a drag because I was afraid of burning it so soon after. Even while it's slightly flooded and gurgles now I'm still getting tons of vapour.

Mine gurgles with almost every use, but the vapor production's good so I don't fret it. I'm also paranoid about letting the atty get dry, so I'm probably putting 1-2 too many drops in when filling my carts. I figure the extra's similar to when I drip to wet the atty. I usually only use 1 drop when I drip.

Long as the vapor's good, you should be fine.

Vape on. :)

Yes, when you get a little juice in the hole of the connector on your atty you will get gurggling. If you are producing good vapor, you may want to just draw a little lighter (slower), or you can always roll the corner of a paper towel or some tissue, stick it in the hole and draw out the excess liquid.
Blowing out you atty once in a while helps too and gives you a nice clean flavorful vape.
