I've been vaping 60/40 VG/PG juice all day, and suddenly the roof of my mouth became unbearably salty and kind of slimy. Also my tongue seems to be turning yellow. There is nothing salty about the juice. I brushed my teeth and tongue 4 times, whatever the salty taste is it just keeps coming. It tastes like I've coated the roof of my mouth, especially in the bach, with a salt water gel.

Any ideas on what's causing this????

I spoke with my Dr because I'd just had some blood work done and had him on the phone anyway. I'm just getting over a cold as well. He said it's quite possible that the vapor is somewhat drying nasal passages and the post nasal drip from allergies/cold may have changed taste. (The taste seemed to mostly at the back of my mouth). Also, it's dehydrating and when you're dehydrated your mouth can taste saltier. I drank a lot of water last night, and this morning there was much less of the salty taste. I'm thinking the combination of nasal drip, not enough water, and reclined sitting so that it was dripping down the back of the throat is probably what happened. The Dr. wasn't concerned, just reminded me that I need to drink WATER (I'm a tea junkie), and he's thrilled about my vaping and very interested in how I'm doing with it. I sent him the CASAA information for his office as he's had others try vaping with disposables etc. that were interested but not satisfied with those devices. I also gave him some business cards with the forum address to pass to anyone interested.

I use this a couple times a day and my dry nose issues have pretty much cleared up now. Wasn't getting a full on nose bleed, but I did have something up there that was bleeding some. This or any other brand seems to work good for me at least.
