I've recently just started my search to research and buy a first time APV I can use for a good amount of time, and trying to stick with a 510 connection that will take the Kanger Protank. I was looking at the "tesla apv" at vaporalley. com and saw that its connection is a Slotted 510 connection with floating center pin.

what in the world is that? just a fancy term for a 510 connection? is this a bad choice?

a floating center pin is probably a spring loaded one or it could also be one that is adjustable with the use of a small screwdriver

ive got puresmoker's Legacy which has as its contact point a small brass screw....this is great because you can adjust it a half or quarter turn when you have a misbehaving carto or other delivery device that isnt making contact

I dont know about the Tesla but my guess is that its either spring loaded which would kind of make the adjustment for you...or its a screw like the Legacy has

either way a floating center pin is a good thing
