Hey all, big Carto user here...
I use my Provari V2 with Boge 3.0 cartos...
I used to punch my cartos with a saddle valve for my tanks and it worked great, recently I decided that I would just buy a dremel as I could use it for other things as well and sell my saddle valve to a friend...
So I've been slotting my cartos with the dremel lately and find it very hard to get a perfect slot (or two) without having it NOT wick well enough or too well and cause gurgling and eventually flooding, also, I've noticed that the resistance of my carto will change quickly (from 3.0 ohm to 2.something then 1.something and dead) and die as a result.
I'm making sure as to not punch the center tube of the carto and just making small slots on one side or both (depending on pg/vg ratio) am I doing something wrong? Or should I just buy another saddle valve and go back to punching?
