Got one today, actually surprised how much i'm liking it. It hits harder than my Panzer, not quite there with my copper Stingray (but very close). Design and feel in hand is beautiful, has a good weight to it (brass is all thick and seems good quality). Would be worried about getting it all dinged up carrying it around all day but it comes with a nice holster to carry it in. All the vapers and non vapers where I work are in awe of the looks and feel. I actually went and bought another so I have one to vape and one to "collect" but i'm old and have a pretty high vape budget. Originally ordered for looks and collectible status but as I said i'm extremely surprised by how well she hits.

If I may ask, where did you order yours from? And did they send you the mod with the holster and the box included? I've been really interested in one, and I just want to know if people are getting the box that it came in, or just what they came with in general.

Ordered from Hyperion Vape, comes with holster no box (kinda sux that) but its a great mod, beautiful and hits hard.

They do not ship the box with the mod the box is for retailers to display the mod in. The holster does come with it.

Lol my wife has actually been getting mad because if I use the holster with my preferred dripper on the mod (Helios) im getting little juice marks on my shirts where they touch the air holes.

I received mine and I'm not the least bit impressed.

It was very dirty upon receipt so I decided to disassemble it to give it a good cleaning. As I did so I noticed how little attention was paid to the inner workings of this thing. The two pieces of wood are free floating and hold the free floating delrin center pin assembly using just the pressure of screwing the two pieces together: no threading secures the center pin assembly. It's just a matter of time before it starts wearing out and begins sliding around, likely eventully just falling out due to the wear between the wood and the delrin.

And the switch...don't disassemble the switch. The spring is impossible to get back into place after it's been removed for cleaning. This is not an easily serviceable mech. There's no excuse for that when there are many, many mechs that are easily disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, which is one of the main things I look for in a mech.

I asked about returning this thing, but because there was no manufacturer defect, I was denied. I was only offered a spring re-install since I can't get it back in myself.

This is a poorly designed and way over-priced device in my opinion.

I just had mine apart earlier today and had no problems with getting it back together. There are less parts on this thing than many mechanical mods. The wood pieces are not free floating they are held in place with brass screws into brass inserts in the wood. The delrin block is pressed into a cavity on the brass top, not much different than a Panzer or Stigray mod. I don't know where you got yours at but mine was spotless when I got it and there is absolutely no need to completely disassemble this mod to clean it, all that needs to be cleaned is the brass battery holder, the positive pin and the firing mechanism arm where it meets the copper battery holder. If you want i'll post pics of how to get the spring in correctly.

So its a hunk of junk because you lack the mechanical skill to take it apart and put it back together? I just had mine apart earlier today and had no problems with getting it back together. There are less parts on this thing than many mechanical mods. The wood pieces are not free floating they are held in place with brass screws into brass inserts in the wood. The delrin block is pressed into a cavity on the brass top, not much different than a Panzer or Stigray mod, and what exactly are you doing to your mod to cause the delrin to move at all, let alone enough to wear out the wood beneath it. I don't know where you got yours at but mine was spotless when I got it and there is absolutely no need to completely disassemble this mod to clean it, all that needs to be cleaned is the brass battery holder, the positive pin and the firing mechanism arm where it meets the copper battery holder. If you want i'll post pics of how to get the spring in correctly, or I can take that "hunk of junk" off your hands for $50.

My lack of mechanical skills have it all back together, save for the spring. Enlighten me on re-installing it.

In order to remove the positive pin assembly for cleaning one must use a screwdriver to unscrew three screws from the top brass piece, two from the bottom brass piece, disassemble and remove the switch assembly, then seperate the two pieces of wood. On my numerous other mechs, it's a matter of unscrewing a few pieces by hand to access all parts of the device.

This is a poorly designed device.

Maybe I was a little bit harsh, I apologize for that but I think the design on this device is rather ingenious and a refreshing change to the "metal tube unscrew some parts" mech mod world, but I like to tinker with things as do alot of mech mod users out there. So, calling it junk because it doesn't fit your idea of easy is unfair to this device which alot of people might enjoy, the copper firing pin is easily cleaned through the battery hole with a long cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol. Ok, so it sounds like you have it together without the spring. Take the bottom off and take off the wooden side without the firing device. Look up on the inside of the remaining wood side where the lock screw goes, the spring goes in between the copper and wood right at the hole for the locking screw, and the locking screw actually goes through the spring when its in place to hold it. There is a little shelf cut into the wood so the spring will sit flat when in place, you may need a screwdriver or needlenose pliers to get the spring in that small space. If you keep the device I would recommend only taking off the bottom cap and the wood side that does not have the firing button so then you dont have to worry about the spring, that will give you easy access to the copper pin if you dont want to go in through the battery hole (you can also clean the trigger "arm" easily from there. Let me know if that gets you going again, if not i'll post pictures when I get home from work tonight

Thank you and apology accepted. I edited my perhaps too-harsh description. I was honestly hoping to love this device, but unfortunately upon receipt it just doesn't live up to my expectations. Here are some pictures along with my concerns

====================================

Here's the delrin positive pin assembly, which is secured only by the pressure of the two wooden pieces when they are screwed together. Without some sort of threading, I just can't see this design holding up:

====================================

Without disassembling the device, the only access to cleaning the pin is dealing with getting a long cotton swab down here:

====================================

Getting that tiny spring back in between the lever and top cap is...well...difficult.

====================================

Cheap plastic battery screw:

====================================

And lastly, one of the top brass screw inserts has already pulled out of the device. Unacceptable on a device of this price:
