hi ericska,

im using a vamo too... from ego to zmax and now using a vamo.... now trying to get a 18350 batts to make it shorter.. the normal vamo is very long... hehehee

Hi Sinyu!
Actually I bought Vamo cause it can converts shorter, and it has everything like Vmax/Zmax(variable watt) and great price! Also its user interface is fast and easy like VV Gripper. I love my Gripper too. Although Gripper is lacked a VW but still a powerful APV, only thing is its cheap made plastic housing...

I have been looking for IMR18350 battery with higher capacity up to 1000mAh or higher. AW the highest only 700mAh which left only half day for my vaping time... Efest IMR18350 the highest only 800mAh. Trustfire protected Li-on does has highest up to 1200mAh, but Vamo only recommends unprotected high drain IMR battery... and I never trust Trustfire & Ultrafire battery, their mAh not really accurate...
If you do found any high drain IMR18350 battery with over 1000mAh or higher PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW. Thanks!

If I have enough free time, I am going to try shrink my Vamo too like this wonderful ECF member did.

Evenshorter than my VV Gripper that I love, and you can always use powerful IMR18650 battery! If success, I'll buy another Vamo and shrink it too! :D:w00t:

China stuff mah, can't complain much. I'll mod my Vamo soon, and yesterday I ordered 4 pcs Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh from eBay ready for "soon" modified Vamo. (Modify is easy for me, I have a mini lathe machine. :D)
You should also buy the Panasonic CGR18650CH too if you really need it. I heard it'd stop production already. It's the best high drain IMR18650 now. I ordered here: http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/320950697120?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_6921wt_906. They even come with free 18650 battery storage box for 2 pcs battery! I ordered 4 pcs Pana battery so I got 2 free boxes! The box cost Rm4.00 in Malaysia here.

BTW sinyu. I believe you can try look for your lathe machinist friend if any, or just go to lathes workshop. And show them this picture:

For them, it is piece of cake to make.

Edit: Here a PDF copy of "Vamo Shrinked Mod" for printout. :thumb:
