Hey All,

I'm confused; this particular model which is an ego, can it use a 510 tank e.g. vivi nova with out an adapter? and also can you use a kanger t3 out of the box?

The vivi nova will fit on any eGo connection but it looks odd. There are eGo to 510 cosmetic adapters that help that pencil neck look

I should've asked the question differently, no sleep :banghead:
Basically what I really should be asking is, most or all 510 tanks fit on ego batteries, but ego tanks must have adapter to fit on 510 batteries?

Yep. Switched is right... except that there are some (zmax) that allow for the eGo 'skirt' and still take the regular 510 connection as well. The zmax won't allow for any 'eGo connection' that uses the 'cone threading' but some just cover that space without the threading - where the inside 'battery threading' is used. I hope that's clear Basically there are two sets of threads on the eGo batts - the small inner threads for the electrical connection and then the 'cosmetic' threading for the cone. Some clearos use both, some don't.
