I have a black AltSmoke BB 14500 battery mech mod. $85. Aircraft aluminum body makes it durable yet light. My college-aged daughter wanted her first mod setup for her birthday, so I got her a pink and purple BB with color matched iClear 30 clearomizers.

Precaution: the pronounced fire button could cause unintentional firing of the mod if kept in a pocket or otherwise tight space. I recommend removing either the battery or loosening the juice attachment to break battery contact for the safest transport of this mod in a tight pocket.

Take a look at the Super T Manufacturing Precise Simplicity 18350. At 66 mm long x 20 mm diameter, it's about the size of an 18650 battery. If you like it, don't take too long to order... they're running low on this batch of these and the Simplicity 18500 (which I bought... 81 mm long).

American made, stainless steel, maintenance-free palladium plated contacts, lifetime warranty

I also highly agree with this too if you aren't trying to spend the dough!

when it comes to clones how safe/reliable are they lol?

Do your homework on these! Some are great, some are junk and need a lot of work to make work right! But there is plenty of information if you are willing to hunt it down and read!

How much is that if I may? Just asking as it seems it may be on the high end, or a bit over? I honestly don't know, so if I ask we will all know.

The K100 has been getting great reviews, a buddy of mine has one and just loves it! I have a Nemesis clone on the way, I've heard a lot of good reviews about it as well.
I also have the Altsmoke BB, super tough mod! I think I got mine back in 2010 and it's been through Hell and back! I've had to replace the 510 connector, my fault, and went ahead and upgraded the wiring while I was in there just because.

If the BB had ego threading I would have kept mine. Using stuff with adapters is a PITA. I really would have liked to keep it since i have a TON of AW protected ICR batts for it
I agree. My daughter tried an assortment of clearomizers, with both ego (with adaptor) and 510 threading. We settled on using the iClear 30 & Protanks because of their 510 threading and larger liquid capacity. We use AW IMR safe chemistry batteries in our BB's.
