I saw on Alan Snider's website a very clever mod, wherein he uses the metal tube of a $1 flashlight to create a battery mod WITH matching top cap that covers your tank, so the entire thing looks like one single unit protected in tough metal. Looks just like a Hybrid, infinitely cheaper, and lets face it way cooler :D

I have that config and I'm pretty happy with it. It is an Odysseus on the top of a 69 SS from Atmomixani. I added a Kick for VW. What I like about that mod is its gold plated connectivity which provides good resistivity and also that you can either have the switch at the top or at the bottom. Up to you!

Unfortunatly, getting an Odysseus is very hard. If you can't wait, you can still use the Nautilus V1 (not odey nor terminator). You can find a polished version here

Silver bullet is a tried and true one and under 100 bucks. I've had one for about 2 1/2 years now and still going strong. I've since got some VV/VW device so I haven't been using it as much, but I may try wrapping a low ohm coil and busting it back out! It's decent size for pocket, not too long in my opinion. I always kept it in my pocket.
