I got my order in this morning and have been trying to use these all day so here is my review.

they are hard to fill, a syringe works best and it needs to be a small sharp tip. i couldn't get the blunt tip in without damaging the filler. if you try to remove the filler it tears apart as if it was glued in or something.

with the original filler it has the same characteristics as a regular cart. it doesn't wick very well.
on the cart that i tore out the filler i replaced it with the same amount of blue foam and it leaked so i cut another piece that extended into the window just enough that you could see it. it now works somewhat ok with no leakage.

I do prefer it over a regular cart just because you can see the fluid through the window. it is just a cart and it will have to be fiddled with to get the most out of it.

someday I hope that someone comes up with a cart that is easy to fill, don't leak and wicks all the fluid with no burnt taste. but this one is not it.

my search continues and I thank you, LF, for trying.

I use a Riva 901 and I have tried these and after a few days use of these carts and i'm back using "standard" cartridges, the reason?
After a bit of investigation I found that the carts did not hold any more liquid than a standard cartridge and its a PITA to fill the smart carts i.e. messy as you have to remove the foam to drip your liquid in. I filled a empty standad cartridge (blue foam mod)with liquid and it took 15 drops, I filled a empty smart cart and it took 15 drops! so no difference. OK you can see how much liquid there is left in the smart cart but I wanted something that would last when I was driving as I often drive journeys of 2 hrs or so.
Oh and I also did a mini blue foam mod on the smart cart as it had standard wicking material.

Just my opinion folks! ;)

The main difference should be that there is less filler for it to soak in and its at the bottom, standards usually hold the juice at the top and takes way to long to seek to the bottom if you vape alot...

I got mine yesterday and now need to know the best way to fill them.
I did fill one and got the same glued in effect. I was scared to use a needle thinking I might make it leak so I just dug the filler out and filled it up and soaked the filler.
It doesn't seem to turn lose of the liquid very quickly and often I get a slightly burnt taste.
Maybe time will fix that. Could be the type of liquids will matter too. I will try different ones in a few days and see how that goes. The window is cool though!

What about mega cartos for when you drive? Have you tried that? Might work better for you, timewise.

I'm filling with a syringe (no leaking). Finding these a real benefit for new and light vapers (not me personally). Nonetheless, the draw is nice, not messy at all, very good wicking, plus the window is cool!

They don't really hold any more than a regular cart. They are just supposed to help with all the wicking issues associated with traditional carts. I think blue foam is much better than the stock filler. You need a slightly larger piece though, as the blue foam isnt as dense as the polyfill.

I'm working on getting some of these for the EGO type A atties.... the samples I got are nice!

I got a 5 pack of these in today. I can't say I am liking them at all. Messy to fill with a syringe and I keep getting the burned taste, too. Ill give it a few more tries and see. So far, thumbs down.

I agree and will put a big Amen on what you said. Someone said they are better if you mod them with the blue foam. Why can't they make a cartridge that provides a good vape right out of the box? I should not have to buy something, then spend time trying to find a work-around to get it to work right. Sorry to be such a downer on the Smart Carts. Maybe I'm just tired and getting grouchy - LOL I'm giving up on them. Please let me know if you figure out a way to get them to taste right. I used a syringe to fill mine.

Paula - Still dripping in Arizona

Still attempting these. LOL! I'm hard headed. I have filled these suckers up with juice, let them sit, made sure my attn is wet. With light colored juice, I get the burned taste after only a few draws. Darker colored juice does give me less to no burn taste. Neither give me much flavor but I do get lots of vapor. : ( I am one of those that would rather have flavor over vapor. I have tried all different mixtures of pg/vg and just straight pg. I do not have any straight vg to try. And I don't have any blue foam.

I also tried plucking some of the stuffing out of one to see if I could get better wicking. Still thumbs down, no matter what I try. Good new is, I have gotten better (less messy) with using a syringe with juice while trying these. So guess all isn't lost.
