I loved my Kanger Protank, but I forgot it was in my lap and when I stood up it shattered all over the tile floor! :( I can just get a new one, sure, but I was wondering if there were better options out there or maybe a new model that is better than the protank. I have a bunch of the atomizers and I've gotten pretty good at maintaining them (I still haven't had to throw one away), and I know there are compatible tanks... just not sure which.

Is there a list of tanks that I can use these with? And what is the deal with the glass vs. plastic? Do the glass ones have an advantage other than being able to use more acidic juice without cracking? Is there maybe a rubber piece that fits the protank to save it from dropping?

Yes pyrex tanks are better for acidic juices, where plastic will fail with acidic juices in them. I have about 1/2 glass and plastic so that way all my tanks are not glass. You could get a anyvape or protank II and just replace the glass that breaks. But my favorite tank that has plastic is the iclear 30. Very good flavor and vapor + its dual coil and wicks really thick juices pretty well :p

Buy a Davide... I love mine. My friend got a Protank the same day I got my Davide. Both nice tanks, but I give the win to the Davide.

Swap coils with your friend and you might swap winners. They are both Mechanically the Same. Only a coil variance should effect the vape.

How about some rubber bands to stop the shock on hard surfaces. I dunno.

what about some neoprene or silicone tubing that has an ID 1/16" less than the OD of the tank? will slip right on and be nice and snug. you can get it cheap and in different thicknesses. use a larger OD to increase impact resistance.

i just bought a ProTank 2 and am eyeing up the Devide mini next. im not a fan of a chrome finish so i will be looking for a "sleeve" for both tanks. ill post pics when im done.

Pro tank 2. They have a tighter draw than the protank which makes them even better, along with the colored glass tanks they will be coming out with :p I'm shocked you shattered a protank...My boyfriend dropped his all the time at work onto concrete and it still kept going strong. mini-pro's on the other hand, you flick them wrong and they shatter.
