Well, the Reddit promo is now active and I just could not resist, so a yellow one is coming my way. Expected to ship 12/25 via DHL. Hopefully it won't end up sitting next to the Drip-EZ on the shelf.....
Thanks for posting. Please keep us in the loop on what you think of it.

I've got interest in this once some reviews come out and we get some feedback on the pump mechanism.

I'm sure the device/chip itself is solid. I'm very happy with all of my current Smoant devices. Charon TC, Gaia, Battlestar, Cylon, and recently the Naboo. If the pump system seems solid, it appears to be leak free, and we can order replacement 'pods' for it, I will probably pursue one.

Instead of getting the Pulse Dual right away, I think I'm going to wait a bit and compare these two in a month or so. I use primarily single battery squonkers, just want a few dual battery mods around. Don't have to have them all, lol. I probably would have ordered the Pulse today from VaporDNA if I hadn't seen this one pop up here.

I'm a Pulse fanboy, and also Smoant, but I don't need two more dual battery squonks, so the Battlestar may be in my future.

I'm in the same situation @score69 re: Smoant and the Pulse Dual. I have a few Smoant mods that have treated me well, and I'm very happy with the Pulse 80/X squonkers. I also don't really need 2 more dual battery squonkers.

But when it comes to vape gear rational thought seems to take a holiday for me, so a dual Pulse is heading my way from Eciggity in addition to the Smoant. I have a feeling that I'm going to like the TC performance better on the Pulse, but prefer the squonk ergonomics on the Smoant.

Yeah, if it's a slow day at work, I have a feeling I may end up having a Pulse head my way soon as well, lol.

I've been looking at VaporDNA over and over this morning. :D

It will be a perfect Christmas present for yourself – get one! It’s just begging you to put it in the cart and hit that checkout button. Don’t let that poor Pulse Dual, who is already tired from the long trip from China, spend the holidays locked in the VaporDNA stockroom. It needs a good home!

Got the Smoant in today and so far it’s been a delight to use. The pump system works very well. When the bottle is first filled it needs to be primed with a few pumps before it works but after that, it provides a nicely measured dollop of juice each time.

Very simple to refill – there’s a port on the bottom with a silicone plug. But, since there’s a single door covering the batteries and the bottle, you need to take care not to drop out the batteries when refilling. I’ve been leaving the bottle in the mod when refilling, and turning it upside down so the batteries stay put.

It has some suck-back ability. It’s not as effective at that as a conventional bottle, but it’s effective enough and has not been a problem as of yet. I’ve mainly been using it with a Nudge 22 and it needs just a couple of pumps to provide good wick saturation. Larger attys with deeper wells need several pumps.

The build quality is very nice – excellent fit and finish. The menu system is straightforward, and it’s been performing very well in TC. I’ve been using it in TCR mode since I’m using a blended wire (twisted Kanthal and Ni200) and the TCR adjustments don’t require diving down into the menu system – just press the down button and the fire button at the same time. The same for adjusting wattage in TC mode (which is the up button and the fire button). Selecting between VW, VV, bypass, curve and TC modes is just three clicks, then using the up/down buttons to cycle through the choices.

Only a few quibbles so far. Some of the fonts on screen are too small for my old eyes to see clearly without a squint. The bottom edge could use a bit more rounding off since it’s a fairly sharp edge. Minor stuff.

Are the other two colors (blue & gunmetal) shipping yet?

It appears so. Those who ordered the blue or gunmetal via the Reddit deal received theirs the same time as those who ordered yellow or black.

The only vendors that have listed them for sale are China-based (FT and a couple of others). As soon as they are available from a US seller I'm picking up a second one. Been very happy with mine so far.

That code still works at Smoant-mall. You can even pick the $22 shipping and it covers that as well. Two extra bottles you say? Well that’s an extra $4 for a total of $115.99. Subtract for the coupon and you end up with a grand total out the door and delivered to yours....$68.99 that’s right a $47 deduction. Pretty, pretty, pretty nice.

Now here’s the big question. Do I pull the trigger on this and get the gunmetal color with 4 bottles in total for under seventy clams. For all you folks who have been vaping this for a bit, what say you?? Should I click confirm order? Also how long did it take for your mods to get delivered from time of shipping? I have the desire rage squonker and the Squeeze 2 so do you folks think I should get this mod also? Is it such a convenient and functional mod that you would pick it over your other squonkers or is it gonna be sitting on a shelf in a couple months when the “shine wears off” and it’s not new and exciting anymore? Need some advice from you guys that have been using it. I want your opinions.

Anybody getting a little leaking where the top of the bottle meets the body? I have to wipe up some excess juice occasionally from that area.
Might just be condensation. Big DL vapes do that. It’s more a factor of the sheer amount of vapor than anything else. I avoided this one because it lacked the chip I wanted and everything was painted which makes me suspect cheap materials. Plus I was out of budget so it was academic. How do you like it?

Definitely not condensation. I can see it pushing out some liquid when I pump. I’ll have to try the other bottle. Beside that I like it. It’s my first squonk, so I’m still figuring it out. I don’t really trust carrying it around in my pocket, so I only use it at work.

I don’t have this one but the leaking could be due to your rda getting a little dirty. If it seems hard when you push the bottle the bf pin and your wicking could be getting dirty which causes higher then normal pressure thus leaking out the easiest path. Hopefully I explained that ok. It’s happened to me with other squonkers but I go a long time between rewick/rebuilds sometimes. Just a possibility I thought I’d toss out there. Good luck and I hope you get it straightened out.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I’ll check it out tomorrow.
