Ok so I have purchased the nitecore i2 charger to charge my two batteries for my smok alien. I see that there is settings for the charger do i need to change any settings for 2500mah 3.7v 18650 batteries or can I just put them in and get charging?

For the type of 18650 Batteries that we use, you should just be able to just Insert them and let them Charge Automatically.

About the Only thing that I can think of is if you are just charging 1 Battery, you might want to change the Current from 1.0 Amps to 0.5 Amps. But that is just a personal choice.

By Default, your i2 will charge a Single Battery at 1.0 Amp. And if 2 Batteries are inserted, then each will be charged at 0.5 Amps.

Some like to Charge at 0.5 Amps. Because it is supposed to Extend the Lifespan of the Battery. Takes Longer to Charge though.

It is Always a Good Idea to take a Battery out of the Charger after it is Done Charging.

But if you are charging 2 Batteries, and one Finishes 15 or 20 minutes before the other one, it shouldn't hurt anything to leave it in the charger.
Ok thnx so much btw the charger is getting quite hot should i take the batteries out let them cool then put them back in

Hot Isn't Right. A little warm to the touch, sure. But Not Hot.

I'd Stop Charging Now.

Where did you get this Charger?

I bought this exact charger last week along with some 18650 batteries as I have a Drag 2 arriving on Tuesday and all my other mods are internal batteries.

This is my first charger and was a little nervous when 1st using it - however as others have said it gets a little warm but as long as you can't fry an egg on it, it's fine.

Also if you are charging 2 batteries at once, you will find that 1 will finish charging before the other. But that's totally normal from all the reading / worrying I did!!
