I wish they left the voltage and amp display off of regulated mod screens. I think they cause way more confusion than help.
@Marybratti , you're fine using it as you are. Whether you need 20W on that 0.7 ohm coil is one only you can answer as it's personal preference whether you prefer a warmer or cooler vape.
I mean if it would actually show the input values instead of the outputs, it would be great. But yeah, people see these output values on the screen and think "well if they put it on there, it must mean something" when it doesn't. Mean anything.
I agree. That info is for your chip to the atty. If your worried about battery safety, 20 Watts over your alien (2 batteries in series regulated mod) will only draw ~4.2 Amps. I would assume/hope you are using 20-30 Amp batteries. At 4.2 Amps, your batteries should not even get warm. Plenty safe. Only the Watts requested matter for battery draw safety. The Ohms of your coil do not matter (for the batteries in your regulated mod). You can run a 0.1 Ohm coil at 20 Watts. Still the same battery draw.
Don't need to read, math: I=P/V. So I=25Watts/6.0Volts; Upped by 5 Watts to account for a guessed %80 buck/boost chip efficiency. Using 3.0*2 as a low voltage with sag (~3.35 Volts resting); but this would be actual battery voltages. I=4.2 Amps.
