Smok Alien

just got my Alien mod yesterday with matching BabyBeast tank..So far Im loving it! really like the easy reading display and ease to set up.. I can't comment as I don't use in mod charging and always charge my batteries in a separate dedicated charger..
Vaped my first full tank of juice at 75w and still have 3/4 battery left.. If any of you out there are considering this mod I would advise to get one.. you won't be disappointed!

It should be noted that the tc is subpar. Other than that it's a nice mod.

it doesn't bother me as I don't use TC in any of my mods, including this one... my personal belief is TC is overrated and a extra hassle when all I want to do is vape and get my nicotine fix...lol

Thought it was important to point it out as you strongly recommended the mod. Anyone doing tc would be disappointed. And tc does potentially make vaping safer.

Sorry the TC is fine.. I agree with DJLSB on this one.. with the latest firmware the tc is quote accurate and smooth.

I never used to tc but I've been using it a bit recently & I agree with ken, the tc is less than average.
I found surprisingly good tc on the innokin kroma!

Not on mine, and many others have problems as well. It was acceptable with the original firmware, but I made the mistake of updating. 1.2.11 was a catastrophe, 1.2.2 works slightly better, but still not as well as 1.2.1.

I definitely think this mod is good in power mode, that's the only reason I didn't mind using it. It was my main mod but the tesla nano 120 is just so much better. It actually hits harder than the alien too, 60 watts is like using an alien at 90 watts in hard mode and the firmware is miles better. I'm using a 0.2 coil and it's reading correctly an performing better than any other of my regulated mods
The alien is good but I think it's overated!

My sister liked my Alien so much she ordered the full gold kit from VapeNW this morning ($59) mod will come with a matching gold baby Beast.. something like in this pic.. she loved the way mine vaped compared to her subtank Nano mod, she's getting educated LOL

Dude the alien isn't that good, my first lasted a whole week! The X cube ultra is actually more solid an more reliable.

Guys at my vape shop had been using them since they came out.. they are highly recommending it as they're still using them today.. maybe you just got one that was bad but for the price it's worth a shot..

Well granted the shop I got my first one from isn't very good, I've had a few from there that just give up the ghost.
I got a second one from the shop I've been using which is much more respectable. In fact that shop got me onto Samsung 30qs! But still to me the mod is just average, I'm not a big fan of the baby beast either. You have baby beasts & cloud beasts don't you?? I'm not the biggest fan of them. I prefer the cleito
I'm much preferring the tesla nano bit you vape at higher watts so can definitely see how you rock the alien. It's better than stinkies eh?!

I have an rx2/3, an rx200s & soon I'm getting the rx300, my local shop sells it for a reasonable price. My wismecs get more use than the alien people complain about the 510, no issues myself.

I paid $48 online for the RX300 in the center.. these are the three main mods I vape at home in my easy chair.. that white D3, and now the alien are the mods I take when I'm out and about.. really like my Rx mods and have had absolutely no problems with them at all..

had nothing but problems here on the innokin 18650 75w coolfire using atheon chipset, in TC mode.. and it is a well liked mod.. I guess it goes to show how different all our experiences can be! The innokin actually "brain farts" for me in TC mode and out of the blue just gives burnt hits.. i don't trust it, especially with nickel. Have never had such an issue with my alien.. YMMV!

I don't think it was the mod, that vape shop carries a reputation in their mods crapping out. My first one from them the arc 4 I had to get a refund from a dodgy batch, & the I just kept giving me a burnt taste then my alien gave up after a week!
However I've had an alien, H priv, osub 80w, vape pen 22 from a different shop & all 4 smok mods have performed great!
It was definitely the shop, also some aspire batteries caught fire.
The shop I go too now sold me good quality 30qs for me tesla nano & I am very impressed with battery life.
I shan't be returning to the first store, aspire batteries aren't brilliant but they should not catch fire! For low wattage they worked with my nebox fine, I'm so frustrated with them not giving me a refund of my alien.
They sell avatar batteries too, they are as bad as efests an awts

I order my mods and tanks mostly online.. I found it's better quality and cheaper prices than my local B&M.. however I do buy my juice custom mixed at my local shop and acquire points that I just recently used to get this new alien mod kit absolutely free... just sayin
