You are much better off with the deal you got & if you really want it..........you still could.
Oh, that's not quite as enticing. I would have bought it thinking SS and been a tad bent out of shape if it were just painted.
I think I'm done shopping for the moment. Ordered a DNA 133 too (along with a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff), so I think me and the credit card need to have a talk about vaping sprees, and how the card has to stop doing this to me when I'm not watching.
I would definitely buy a second Alien if it was a brushed stainless steel like my VF Stout but it looks more like the SS color of my IPV5. They shouldn't even call it stainless steel, it should be called silver instead.
Anybody getting faulty resistance readings? Using the baby beast t-8 coils, I'm getting readings ranging from .19 to .4+, even with a new coil. Perhaps I need to reflash the firmware?
Yeah, I'm running 1.2.2 and I used Daniel's (DJLSB) method. Right now it's holding at 0.191, but I still think it's reading a bit high...
Those are rated at what 0.15? Factory coils are rarely right on the money. The nature of mass production. What resistance do you get with other mods/resistance checkers you might have?
Yessir, 0.15 for the t-8's. I just threw it on my iStick Pico (since I have one here at work) and it indeed reads 0.15.
Only able to do Aprom Update. Guess I should read manual but what is dataflash in updater? Could not get that to run as data config file was too big. Thought I bricked it as couldn't get updating off screen until I pulled batteries.
EDIT: Dataflash is only for bin files I assume? Seems to be working but scared the hell out of me.

I just erased and re-uploaded my firmware and am still getting readings ranging from 0.19 to 0.24 on a 0.15 ohm setup. Is everyone else having accurate readings?
So I ordered a Super tank to go with the Alien, but somehow got the "Tiffany blue", which looked freaking awful. Fortunately, Super tanks are pretty cheap ($16-25% on the flash sale), so I ordered a "dark blue", along with a dark blue DT. It's not a perfect match, but it's way better than the first attempt. It's actually a great tank for the money, and it's perking along really well on the mod.
Ecig city has the silver now. ordered one and a gold since they are 20% off for Halloween(well and every where else with a decent price was sold out lol). hope to have them later this week.

Thats why I grabbed em before they sold out. I'm thinking my black azeroth will look great on the gold alien since it has gold accents.

Got my silver one from ecig-city yesterday also. A really nice sharp looking mod. Glad I got it. I wasn't sure from the pics if I would like it or not, but in this case the pics on the website do not do this mod justice.
