yeah i ordered the black and red. might be a reason I have to wait. Yes I've heard of some physical stores getting them but I don't see them in stock on anyones website yet. Also I only paid $52 for the kit from FT. How much was it at your store?

Only seen it a couple places online, but with limited color choices. My shop gives points for each purchase, so used some of those I had saved up for $20 off any item. Got it for $67 (then got $10 off the bottle of juice as a bonus), about the price of online, but after giving it a test run which is worth something to me (hate when I buy online, then just doesn't look or feel right). I've never bought from FT and have no plans to start.

Will be interested on how you like it once you can try it!

I have seen it on a few websites for 59.99. Very good price for a virtually brand new mod with such unique features.

Looks like online vendors are getting them in now and prices are all over the place. But $60 for the kit with the Prince tank is a pretty darn good deal! Will it be a better deal yet with Christmas sales and will they still have the color one wants by then????? I don't normally go for duplicates, but seriously considering jumping on for a black/red or rainbow kit.

Looks nice, if it had the RBA kit and the mod wasn't made by Smok. (Personal experience speaking.) I like their tanks, but I have to pass on the mods they make.

Once I got the Aspire Speeder, the quality difference between them and Smok is amazing. Maybe it's just bad luck for me, but that's my opinion of it. I'll still probably pick up the TFV12 with RBA from them though, the tanks seem to work well.

Haha. It's just the ones I got, my personal experience.

Which contributes what to the subject of this thread other then to express (in your opinion, of course!) what a pathetic product is being discussed, which is based on "your personal experience" with how many different Smok mods? I don't understand why you would even open a thread about something you so detest. Then to proclaim your acquisition superior to something you have never seen, held, or tried?

"In my opinion", your original post was out of line. And your follow-up post indicates you don't even recognize that!

Hey guys, I got the Mag about a week or so ago and I really like the look and feel a lot, but one issue I'm having is dead hits. Seems like every 10th to 20th hit nothing happens when I pull the trigger. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

I got the green one and the finish is amazing. Also the Prince tank is top notch for flavor. By far the best tank Smock has put out imo.

One other thing I've noticed is that I need much lower wattage compared to the Procolor or T-Priv. Usually had to run those close to 100 or over to get the same effect as the Mag. I think this is a good thing. Is anyone else noticing that as well?

I have had that happen, but only rarely and have attributed it to my messed up hands. I've also wondered if it might be due to some "sideways" pressure on the trigger? Between those 2 possibilities, the rarity of occurrences is not concerning to me since it helps keep the wick saturated. :D

I don't have the Procolor or T-Priv, but do have a couple other Smok mods. But I mostly run my Prince tanks on the Mag and BB or BBB on the others, so not able to say. And up until a few days ago, I was only running the Q4 coils on both my Prince tanks. As with other Smok tanks/coils, I tend to power them towards the lower end of the "best at" range. I always have the preheat set at "N" (normal) on all my mods, but you might check those settings.

Durability! Unrelated, but will add.....Despite my wonky hands, I rarely have any problem with dropping my vape. But, sure enough, I am up to 2 times with the Mag kit. I bumped it off my desk (what, 30-32" drop) onto a chair mat over carpeting. Battery clip ejected, but other then that, no damage or markings. I guess, since that was not a tough enough test, I dropped it from chest height (maybe around 4'....OK, I am not over-tall :D) onto concrete. Who knew that inside pocket of my winter coat wasn't a pocket at all, just an opening in the liner to access the real pocket. Dropped the vape in there and it shot straight through to the concrete. Given its weight, lucky it didn't hit my foot....or maybe should wish it whould have and cushioned the blow? Anyway, it stayed intact, nothing broke, and only found one very tiny, barely noticeable mark on a bottom corner. So I am splitting my good fortune between luck and durability. And since I had commented earlier about how the grip made it more secure in my hands, good thing neither time was from losing my grip!

I got to check one out the other evening at a B&M.

Not having used it, but just handling, it's a chunk. Thing felt heavy, but comfortable. I have to say I liked that screen.

I don't know if I'd buy one. My hesitation would only be on weight. It fired quickly and the owner was pleased with it. Big thing though. I think based on what I've learned I could recommend if someone were in the market for one.
