what kind of life are you guys getting on the smok micro STC2 coils? Running temp on a smok R Steam @ 400° and I'm lucky to get a day of good flavor. After that the flavor is gone gone gone. Push it past that and it's burned and just bad.

Played with the TCR and the initial resistance. Nothing seems to help extend the life of these coils. Is this just the way it is?

I have had the same terrible experience. I didn't play with the tcr but it became the most burnt out foul tasting coil I'd ever used after a week. I haven't used temp control with this mod on other tanks but I sure didn't want to buy more Stc2 coils after that experience. I bought more claptons and they seem to be working ok. I'm really not too impressed by the Smok nano tank or the Smok micro tfv4 coils. I'm thinking of getting the supertank 25mm and some aspire nautilus coils to replace it.

Maybe I should try the 1.8 ohm coils with this thing. This little tank would probably be better for me as a tootle puffer.

I had the horizon arctic until the 510 connector got stuck fitted to the snapped off connector pin in my old KBOX 40w. It really pushes out clouds. The v8 version will use all the 80w the R steam mini can throw at it and more. I would make sure you have spare batteries around if using the v8, its a power hungry tank that can be used up to 120w, however most reviewers say 80 is enough.
