Today i noticed my smok procolor wasnt hitting as hard as it usually does, when i got home i set it down on a wood surface to use the restroom, when i came back i tried to hit it and it wouldnt hit at all, then i took a look to see if it was even recognizing me hitting the button only to find that it wasnt on at all, so i thought the batteries were dead, so i charged my batteries and put them back in, and when i do i get my usual lights, but when i go to turn the system on it doesnt turn on at all, anyone know why? Or how to fix it?

What batteries do you have in there? What is the resistance of the coil? How old are the batteries, have you changed anything else recently? Where did you buy it/the batteries and how long ago? How much use has it seen?

This may be a case of abrupt smok failure so I would check your warranty dates, to make sure you can get the 120 questions asked and you need to answer FIRST, answered, prior to warrantying it.

Welcome to ECF. Now tell us more and pics etc. if you are feeling particularly ambitious.

Good luck,

Anna

I think your SOL . Its a sad story, I know. I have had 2 wismec products. My wismec preditor died after like 3 months. It fires only when you hit the plus or minus buttons and then doesnt stop firing. Mine has a squeeze trigger like yours and that doesnt work at all

Heres what I did to try to fix it.

I left it battery door open on a radiator for a couple days. Then I just through it in a draw. Fast forward to 7 months later...

That thing still dont work!!!

Ive got a smok tpriv. Used is daily for 9 months. With smok tanks, rta, rda, and this mod was a regular workhorse. No problems. Then i bought a vooopoo drag and gave the tpriv a little well deserves break. 4 months later, i wanted to bring it out of retirement and use it again. Now it doesnt read atomizers. At all.

I figured my Wismec Predator issue out. Never thought about trying to go go gadget screw drive it till now.

Answer: Squeeze fire mechanisms tend to all have the same SHATTY 510 pin plug. What happens is juice that you may not see runs down in to the 510 hole. The juice passes the insulated plug, runs down the spring load wire and directly to your button.

I took mine apart and saw that the firing switch had collected a fair amount of residual juice gunk. I spent 30 minutes to 1 hour fiddling and cleaning off the wet liquid spots. and the result:

It fires with "Atomizer not found" Which is GREAT! something different, A message at least. Unfortunately I don't know whether I feel like taking it apart again to try and clean it better.
