I suspect that's going to be a busy site.......
Though to be fair any manufacturer pumping out product as quickly as smok is going to have quality issues.

I wonder since they don't honour manufacturing warranties in Canada, if they'll support Canadian purchases through the site.
To be fair, if they have problems with quality because they're pumping out too many products, they should maybe not pump out so many products -- or have a bigger quality team.

Well, I for one hope it works out well for all smok users (I am not one, but mainly because I don't sub0hm, so don't like to comment on quality other than to say, yes, smok does seem to sell a lot of mods) so having a dedicated customer support area is probably (hopefully) a step in the right direction.... Thanks for posting it, ToneeN! :)

Customer: my Smok mod caught on fire and burned my house down

Smok agent: have you tried to reinsert the battery checking it is oriented properly?

Can’t wait to see how this customer service support will work out.
Agent: Was a unicorn standing in your driveway when you reinserted the batteries?

I have a very low opinion of smok products, but, if this new portal to support staff actually works & helps folks with their issues it will be a good thing.
Might even spur on some others to do the same / improve customer service.

If
it is only available via the book of faces, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Personally, i like my smok tanks. The rba head for the tfv8 is a regular piece of crap so i dont use it, but otherwise, i have had excellent use from both tfv8 and tfv12 king. No problems. But i also like dripping so the dead rabbit and some thing made by SMPL work jes fine. The little mech mod by SMPL is not worth the money but the atomizer that came with it is pretty awesome on my sigelei, so theres a bit of a trade off there....

To be fair, I have not heard a lot of complaints about their newest release (the smok mag and prince setup). Someone was complaining it was a left-handed mod only, but they just released a right handed one. Still haven't heard anything negative at all.

Anna
I have used the smok tank and my personal opinion which i know is subjective, I personally prefer the original TFV8 opposed to TFV8 baby series, TFV12, and the TFV12 Prince... my good friend consistently has to replace coils after 3-4 because of burnt taste... Smok has been known to have a issues with QC... but i hope for the best aswell

I’m far from a Smok defender, but I have to say both the AL85 and Alien along with the BB/BBB have worked fine for me as a wattage only toss in the pocket setup. I do think there are better options from other companies comparable out there, but when I got them the Alien was one of the smallest 2 battery mods out there and the AL85 offered a Pico form factor while taking 25 mm tanks. Now that Pico 25 is out, and there are lots of smaller 2 battery mods out there the choices are way better.

Smok is a big company with a large distribution base. If they ever got their act together and improved quality instead of dumping a new model in the market every week they would build a decent loyal base. Maybe this new CS step is a move in that direction, but they have a lot of ground to make up.

I have never even held a Smok mod, so I have no idea how well they work or their expected lifespan. I can say that I really enjoyed the Smok TFV-4 (RBA Head) a lot and to a slightly lesser degree the TF-RTA (single coil RBA head). I also tried a friend's Smok BB and it seemed pretty good too.

As far as the new CS goes, everything I have heard about Smok mods is that you might get one that works perfectly, you might get a lemon. They would be better off improving the QC so that there are much fewer problems, than adding a CS site. Don't get me wrong I am all for CS, but if the product is broken or malfunctioning CS is too late. Especially when even in cases where they will repair it, they are going to want you to pay to ship it to them in China. It's almost not worth it for a $30 product.

Personally, I have and use many Smok products, and have had almost no issues at all. I will say this, I would never try a new Smok product when it first comes out-I always wait about 6 months. Like others have said, they pump out so much so quick, that their products have too many bugs when they first come out. But give it a few months, and they're good to go.
