Hello everyone, what I am presenting today is a new 200W kit from smok, the Kit is part of an economic purchase range, however during the test I was able to appreciate it for several positive characteristics.

► Smok R-Kiss 2 Kit; First impressions:
The SMOK R-KISS 2 kit is powered by a dual 18650 battery and is paired with the TFV18 Mini tank with excellent Cloud performance. Returning to the Mod, I immediately noticed that a large part of the frame is made with several layers of overlapping rubber, this process is resistant to scratches and bumps, it also makes the Mod pleasant to the touch and particularly light (115g). The dimensions of this kit are quite small, however the screen is of considerable size and the large side button of the fire contributes to a good general ergonomics of this kit.

The IQ-S Chip communicates with a 1.3 "TFT display with 6 selectable background colors. The large size of the screen facilitates the reading of the following data; double indicator of cell charge level, set power, lock / unlock, resistive value (Ohms), volts supplied, total number of puffs and duration of the last puff.

Also on the front area (below the display) are the "+" and "-" adjustment keys and the type-C charging socket.

The rear of the Mod has a clean, no-frills design and features a small nameplate embossed with "R-KISS"

► Smok R-Kiss 2 Kit; Side view:
One of the two narrow sides of the Smok R-Kiss 2 Mod houses a very comfortable Fire key that extends the entire length of this side. The Fire key is well inserted in the design of the Mod is simple to press and absolutely silent, moreover it activates the mod without difficulty when pressed from the center upwards. Both sides are softly joined with the panels.

The top of the Mod can accommodate Tanks up to 30mm in diameter, the steel cup contains a gold-plated floating contact pin. The cup remains slightly raised to avoid damage during the screwing / unscrewing phases of the tank.

On the bottom there is the door of the compartment / batteries, the opening and closing are of good quality, just press forward, lift and insert two 18650 cells.

► Smok TFV18-Mini:
Smok's wide range of sub-ohm TFV tanks have always been characterized by using high quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass, this version is slightly smaller than the original giant TFV18 but retains an interesting 6.5 e-liquid capacity ml. According to Smok the recommended output power for using TFV18-mini is between 80-140W (best 100 - 110W).

The tank can be completely disassembled for careful periodic cleaning of all its components. The knurling around the base and the top-cap is very useful for easily unscrewing the deck from the tank, also a large amount of spare orings are available in the kit. The top sliding filling mechanism includes child safety, so you need to press the button and turn the top-cap counterclockwise. The slot for the refill is large (12 x 4mm) and does not provide any membrane to protect this port in my sample. On the bottom there is the plated / gold pin that conducts the current to 5 copper braces inside the base to better conduct the current to the coil. The AFC system has 3 adjustable slots of 10x3.5mm each, these slots are able to pass a considerable air flow and direct it quickly towards the coil for a rather satisfying RDL / DL vape.

► Smok TFV18-Mini; Platform Coil:
Everyone knows the large capacity of "Mesh" type coils in spreading heat over a much larger area of cotton than traditional coils. This mesh solution has currently proven to be the best for flavor perception and the production of large vapor clouds. For this reason Smok makes great use of it on its Sub-ohm tanks. The coils of the TFV18 Mini have been slightly reduced in size compared to the incredibly large ones of the original TFV16 and TFV18 tanks, however we are always talking about rather large coils on this version too. During the start-up phase of a new heating element it is therefore mandatory to moisten the cotton abundantly with e-liquid before using it to avoid dry burn.

► Smok R-Kiss 2 Mod; Operation Guide:
• To turn the Mod on / off, click the Fire button five times in less than two seconds.
• Click the fire button three times in quick succession to access the Mod functions and to choose between the modes; Power, Bypass and locked / unlocked.
• The Wattage is adjusted with the Up / Down buttons, from 1 to 200W with an increase / decrease of 1W at a time
• To Lock / Unlock the wattage press the up / down buttons together.
• Press the Down / Fire buttons together to reset the total number of Puffs.
• To choose one of the six available screen colors; press the Up / Fire buttons together.

TFV 18-Mini Tank is a high performance sub-ohm atomizer that works well in the Cloud and has good liquid capacity. In the kit there are 2 Mesh Coil V18 Mini; one of 0.15Ω and one of 0.33Ω. This resistance (0.33) has a range of use from 40 to 80W with a best indicated by Smok corresponding to 60W. The great reaction speed of the Mesh allows you to use it at "only" 50W and profitably. TVF18-Mini in terms of flavor production is excellent and the vape is accompanied by dense clouds of vapor, in this I do not find big differences compared to the mammoth original TFV18, indeed on the TFV18-Mini the flavor seems even more concentrated, perhaps thanks to a more precise AFC adjustment. TFV18-mini also seems less prone to e-liquid leaks.

R-Kiss 2 Mod has a simplified Chipset, truly intuitive even for newbies. The 1.3 "color TFT screen is quite large and easy to read, the colors of the fonts can be varied as desired, there are six colors available; red, yellow, purple, white, blue, green. The display shows precise indications of the values ohm of the coil and residual charge of the cells.
Like all Modern Mods, R-Kiss 2 also adopts the Type-C charging port. Smok declares a fast, precise and balanced recharge, however personally I always recommend to recharge your batteries with an external charger.
I find the large Fire button responsive and very comfortable when pressed ... The Mod is also fast in the settings and it seems to me that it manages the two batteries very well and in a balanced way during their discharge phase.
On the Mod, some functions are missing such as TC, however I liked this Kit a lot because it embodies the need for a powerful, light, easy to use and classic looking mod. There are no malfunctions or defects to report, the purchase price is affordable, so I would recommend Smok R-Kiss 2 kit to all cloud hunters.
