so they are coming out with the pyrex tank... i am interested in it... but the number one thing i am looking for... is something i can take with me to work... and carry around in my pocket, where it may rest on its side...

so... with the plug and everything is it possible for it to rest on its side without leaking?

help please....

i enjoy my protank because it can sit on its side... and if i can keep the rsst from leaking on its side, well im fairly positive that id want to pull the trigger on it...

btw i am in the army and keeping it upright at all times is not likely to be possible, which is why i want to prevent leaking...

Well it's certainly good news they are coming out with a Pyrex tank for it, I will have to get one for my RSST. Where did you hear this? Do you have a link?

Yes, you can put a plug in the fill hole but if your wick is not filling the wick hole it's likely you will get leakage, and it's a hassle to fiddle with that fill hole plug. I liked it that I could lay my Protank down too, but the vape was nowhere near as good as my RSST. I've not used my Protank in months. Not being able to lay an rba on it's side is something you just have to accept I guess, life is full of little trade-offs.

I've been using a RSST for about a month now. It stays in my pocket most of the time even while I drive. I'm a mechanic and even when I'm lying underneath a car/truck it doesn't leak. There were two incidents where it leaked once I forgot to put the fill plug in and it leaked while I was driving and another time it just leaked both times in my pocket. It's not bad only 2 leaks and 30+ days of usage.

Well it looks like they won't sell you just the Pyrex tank, you have to buy another RSST to get it. It's on Gotsmok:

Pyrex RSST Tank By Smok (PRE-SALE) $24.99 | gotsmok.com

It's not a copy of the plastic tank in Pyrex, it's just a cylinder, so the new RSST is a re-design, and you can see it in the picture of the breakdown. I guess that's the cheapest way they could have done it.

first, i apologize for posting in the wrong section...

second... thanks for all the input guys... i have been considering switching to something more than just the protank, i love it... but i kinda want something more... and i want something that offers something similar to the "great" aspect of dripping (wouldnt know havent dripped) but with a liquid reservoir so i can use it when i am actually at work...

thanks rook, that is really reassuring... i keep my svd with protank sideways in my cargo pocket every day... so it would sit that way with the rsst...
