Ordered two packs of Cartomizers for my 808d-1 from Vapor 4 Life. It seems like they aren't getting power. I have tried 3 so far. I don't want to open any more in case I have to send them back. Anyone else have this problem?

Go to the Vapor4Life Supplier forum and watch the Quick Fix video. Maybe the poles of the Smoketech ones are too low

I never buy Smoketech ones. I buy Vapor4Life blanks and I heard the ones at VaporNine for their Nebula KR8 are good. I wish I could find Boge 2.5's for KR8 because I would try those too.

I tried raising the post on 3 of the smok techs and got nothing still. If you look at the smok tech side by side with the v4l cart. The center posts are actually higher. It seems like just a matter of poor manufacturing. They must just be defective

I tried raising the post on all of them. None of them work. Guess they just don't work on Vapor4Life batteries. Won't work on my Cigalectric 808 either.
Try finding an adapter maybe 901/808 would work...or just ask the vendor you bought from.....they may have a solution....
I deal with madvapes all the time. I've even had them call me once to discuss a problem I had. They will take care of you. Just contact them. That said, I'm using some smoketech 4.2 ohm atomizers with a VV box mod I'm playing with and they work great. These are 510s though.
Try these Vapors Etc. Blank Black Tru-KR808D-1 Cartomizers 2.4 ohms they are out of stock but they may have another color
They said they opened a box and tried them out there. They said they work fine on "their" SLB batteries. Then they said they must not work on your PV. There was no offer for replacement or refund. Its a good possibility i got two boxes of DOA cartomizers. One of the boxes only had four cartomizers. The guy who is writing my tickets is pretty much saying tough luck in so many words.
So what are the threads on your pv? can you provide a link as to where you purchased your pv? still thinking maybe you could use an adapter to get them to work.....

I think I see the problem....KR808D and madvapes slb808-D are not the same....so maybe you should try to sell them in the classified thread here at ecf....you are right. the center post is just too big for the pv you have... madvapes should make it clearer in the website which cartomizers go with what pv.....it looks very misleading to me....

I am just kind of angry that instead of offering a solution. The guy is trying to prove that the cartomizers are fine and that I am to blame. I know there is no warranty on cartomizers, but considering they are advertised to work with standard 808 batteries. They should at least update the description, or do some further investigation. He didn't even reply about one of the boxes being 1 cartomizer short. I dealt with that company because their record for customer service is great. I guess I am one of the unlucky few.

Yeah I tried earlier, and I had to get a few more posts under my belt. Hopefully they will sort it out for me. I am not asking for freebies or anything from them, just want to resolve this. I am on my last two good cartomizers, and i don't want to have to go back to analogs again. I am going on my 4th day of no cigarettes. I have been smoking a pack a day since i was 16. I am almost 24 now. Thanks for all the responses.
And so do many other people, so you should get a response.
While you are awaiting a resolution....please order more of the kind that you do need. Don't let this little set back disrupt your journey into vaping....Believe me, the analogs will taste like ugh

I have been researching 808 cartomizers. Looks like ikenvape megas and litecigusa premiums are the most raved about. I will place an order soon. I got a riva coming in the mail soon. Hopefully it gets here before my carts are fried.
